Mark, what bhp are these fuel pumps recommended upto. I think my current fuel pump is a 250 lph pump rated at 420 bhp according to the company that did my first set of mods. My car is now at 416 bhp and if their rating is to be gone by then a bit close for comfort. What pump would you recommend for in-tank fitting looking next power increase being to around the 500 bhp mark. Thanks for your help in this, Steve.

no problem, yours was quite easy to work out

The 255lt "motorsport" version of the pump should make 450bhp, with some cars making much more, but some do have issues at the 450bhp level. This may be due to the rest of the fuel system/injectors.
I would suggest the "Hi Flow" version I do, which is good for 500bhp, and easy to fit. I'll add it to the GB in case you, or anyone else wants one.

Thanks Mark. Will get one ordered as the pump has been on for 6 years so rather play safe as nothing last's for ever especially as it gets close to it's limit.

mine was delivered yesterday but was out so picked it up today, great service and price only slight concern/niggle and not wishing to flame the thread at all but it is marked as a syntec pump not walbro? any difference?

not sure if this has been asked before, can i go ahead and fit the pump or will it need adjustments to the fuel pressure or map after fitting? will it overfuel due to the increased flow rate or is the flow rate based on demand?
