Excellent news, not sure yet on dates as i still have to source a TMIC, scoop, undertray and then get a Walbro. After all that got to get the VF35 and injectors fitted along with the rest of it. Am i right in thinking that i wont be able to drive it once i change the injectors over without a remap, as in would i have to tie in the remap for when the fitting is complete? You must admit it would be far safer and easier to map it on the runway
Cant promise the Vulcan but i can get you in anytime to show you around the stuff we have. A few years ago at air day they had various sports cars and the new Foggy bike racing the Lynx, was pretty good.

You'll be fine to drive off boost Baz
Much easier to map on the runway
Mentioned on here last week or maybe the week before about logging air charge temperatures over a full run.
The picture below show a brief datalog out of Syvecs for one of the runs from yesterday - for the purposes of showing this year. This goes from about 20mph to 175mph ish - 6800rpm in 6th gear. Full throttle at roughly 2 bar of boost or a little over.
ACT (in the bottom graph) rises from 17.4 degrees to 29C right at the end of a WOT run in all gears.
I think the APS DR725 intercooler works very nicely thanks

All interior out and ready for full cage.
Thanks Tim from subbus.co.uk for popping over to give me a hand ripping the dash out and helping decide what stays and what isn't needed.
It is quite refreshing to be able to tidy up the interior and there really is a shed load of weight taken out - quite amazed at how heavy the airbags, sound deadening, seat belts, and ukky tar stuff is. Wont be enough to offset the cage but it will hopefully minimise the weight gain. Did trim some of the wiring loom down but not too much.
By the time doors and glass are done it should be a net loss.

I quite like being able to take people out in mine.
For example at Oulton Park I have auctioned the pax seat during the warm up and the money raised is going to a local hospice that cares for old folk. Raised about £350 so far.
I plan to do this at every round if possible.

Said goodbye to the car today ... off into SHP for a week or so to get the full weld in cage and for seat rails to be made/welded in.
As part of stripping the inside a lot of the loom has been tidied up and a proper firewall will be made for the rear. At the moment it isnt needed because fuel swirl pot is in the engine bay but at some point it will prove useful if a fuel cell is used. Plus it tidies the inside up.
All interior will be painted too to make it look proper nice in true motorsport white paint
Can't wait
