Many dealers still have HPI on a car when it's sold ... they then use the sale money to pay off what's owed I should know as I've checked a few in my time.

Hi Renny. Top car mate. Well looked after I'll be keeping it the same. Don't do too many miles myself so will probably be one of the lowest mile hawkeyes on the road in a couple of years.
Yeah, the only weak point for me were the brakes.

I would of eventually got round to doing something about them but as I didn't do many miles with short trips it seemed pointless at times.

I would have changed the hoses for the braided type and also change the pads for Ferrodo DS2500's - I've heard that would make a noticeable difference.

Enjoy it and get yourself a V Power fuel card!

I've been putting in BP Ultimate at the moment. Will give the VPower a go. One last thing, is the horn you fitted faulty or did it make that funny high pitch noise. Was thinking of changing it back to standard?

Will put change the pads too. Thanks.

Steer clear of that if you can as it seems to cause "det" with scoobs. VPower or T99 are good alternatives.

I only ever run it on V Power and it ran well so that's what I would use if I were you - I used to do a 25 mile round trip to get it!!

The standard horn is worse!!

When I ordered the PIAA horn I asked for the low pitched one but Revolution sent the high pitched one instead - said that's all they could get hold of

I left it on as at least it was better than standard. If you really want to change it get the low pitched PIAA variant (400hz & 500hz).I have this fitted to my 330S and is much better. It's easy enough to change but you will need to remove the front grille to do it - not that bad to do.

Are you still unsure about the tracker - PM me if you are

Paul, I have the hi and low PIAA's on my hatch, when we catch up you can have a listen, still sound a bit off but way better than the standard.

High & Low PIAA's???

That would mean you have x4 horn units?

High pitch PIAA's are a 500hz unit and a 600hz unit
Low Pitch PIAA's are 400hz & 500hz units.

You would normally get x2 units in a box,the variant of which depending on whether you have high or low pitch.

Low pitch is much better IMHO.

By hi and low I mean a 400 AND a 500 (could be 500 & 600), noticed a few retailers selling single horns lately (high OR low) so just the one frequency rather than a duel tone (higher one and a lower one).

Thinks that makes sense!
