Okay guys just received my little cam today, opened the box noticed all the bits and pieces and thought oh know the actual camera is not there...yes it really is tiny !!

okay couple off questions guys ??

1/ Take it there is no internal memory ie. you will require the micro sd to actually record anything ??

2/ does it actually have the voice activated record function ??

3/ mini disc - whats this for ??

4/ any idea if there is anywhere where I could d/load a copy off the little handbook that appears to be bundled in with some other versions off this camera ??

just a little confused what the mode button does etc etc ??

anyway excellent find from the original poster for £12 delivered its got to be a good buy and certainly something else to ahve a play with for a while !!!!

It worked for me.
Cheers matey Worked for me too.Mine JUST arrived and I have changed date & time thanks to above post.Next thing is....Do they come already fully charged or should I charge it for a few hours?

I tried that but u can't get a good angle without losing rear view visibility It needs to be properly mounted on the dash or something. Sun visor is best, I'm going to tighten up the screws in a vain attempt to stop the camera shake.

Im going to have a crack at this,

Then attach the bracket with the sticky pad you get for rear view mirrors to bond to the windscreen. Ive done a dry run and it seems to clear the mirror and you can angle the camera up & down.

Looks like your holder doesn't fit properly either... it is supposed to clip in at all 4 corners, but doesn't fit properly

Card came within a few days, camera arrived yesterday, all works fine. Wasn't sure which directory to put the date txt file in, so put it in every one, worked OK. well chuffed.

I have mine mounted to the passenger seat with the aid of a bracket I have that came with my kids portable DVD player.

Exclamation Good Deal on SDHC cards

Hiya Folks,

Thought I'd share some memory card info with you.

I've just ordered 2 off Micro SDHC 4GB Class 6 memory cards from memorybits.co.uk for £ 15:32 delivered!!

They come complete with a SD adaptor as well.

Find them on their site and then go to close the window and it gives you a promo code for 10% discount if you stay happy days.

I decided that two 4GB cards would give me a bit more flexibility than one 8GB.

This is with the camera mount bonded to the windscreen, just behind the rear view mirror.

Okay thanks for the info regards the memory cards, still to buy one myself so had a quick look , I take it the ones you are referring to are these ??

Transcend 4GB Micro SDHC Class 6 Memory Card : MICRO SD / TRANSFLASH : Memorybits.co.uk

Not so sure regards the free sd adapter thou, according to one review says " no free adapter received "

the only thing you would have to watch with the 4GB card was that you did not start to record over the the start off your recording if recording for any length off time.

take it 4GB would give you around 1 hour off recording ??

The battery doesn't last an hour so don't worry about that lol And the SD adaptor is so u can plug it into other devices that don't have a MicroSD slot, most MicroSD memory comes with an SD adapter as standard.

Has anyone used the webcam side off this camera ?? only ask as am sure it would be ideal for the actual locating off the camera so you knew exactly where you had the camera pointing at ??

still waitting on my memory card arriving but hopefully be with me soon ??!! installed the driver software, dont see the little AMCAP icon on the desktop but will investigate furrther ??

anyone else install the driver and not see the AMCAP icon ??
