looking at the brackets etc, and the diff casing bolts, as I have an 180diff, do these 2 bottom bolts have to be removed to fit the guard?

if so, then does some fluid leak out?

Yes the bottom 2 bolts do need to come out. I had no fluid leak from mine - the is enough pressure on the rest of the bolts to maintain the seal. My initial diff had salt corrosion which meant that one of the bolts snapped, but the replacement diff was fine. That was the only sang I had.

Right got ya, just looking at the other brackets etc think I can see where and how they go together. should be a quick swop of the 2 bolts anyways.

Sorry for the questions,
so the rusty brackets I would use, as they are the ones you made to fit the WRX?.
I use the 3 holed bracket?.......and the other end of the guard just hooks up and under the diff does it?

The other 2 go are the furthest rearward on the diff carrier. If needed I can get under the car at the weekend and get some pics

Or pop around and I'll fit it
