I assume that translates to "Ok i've not actually competed, but do enjoy the odd track day, and as you are making that challenge I accept that you must have won things so i'll bale out of that game of top trumps"

fair enough...which alternatives did you consider before plumping for the Renault? I ask because you are obviously not short of a bob or two if you run an AMG S class and had a GT3RS...so wondered what you considered alternatives where cost was not (?), a limiting factor.
Come on, just admit it, that aint a bad price for a Megane clutch change.

Fair question. I had a Clio 172 and it was a geat little motor. Looking at replacements at the time, the Megane R26 was the best performing and best value bit of kit at the time. Cheap to get to 270 Bhp, LSD, 4 Pot Brembo's and good standard kit. OK, Renault, but that is not a big issue. The cost was a limiting factor as would be a hack and also do the odd pre race season circuit famil track day.
What do you race (apologies if you are repeating yourself but I'm not reading this whole thread again...I'm a bit bored today bot not that bored...)?
Same applies. I'm not making a challenge. You can accept whatever you wish.

no its not bad but k tec is in bournmouth and they are pretty much the only renault tuner left as the 2 andys from BB are only really selling the odd bit and picking and choosing what they do, so ktec is a bit out the way for most???

I would only send Ark to the kitchen if I wanted something else broken, but that's another thread...
He's probably outside 'tinkering' with his 'tatty old 924' or polishing his racing trophies
I quite like the look of the R26, I like the proportions but unlike the various Cleo sport derivatives (which I thoroughly enjoyed test driving), I've never driven one so can't comment on it's dynamics. I've run into a few on the road and was always a little surprised that they don't seem as quick as their smaller stable mate?

He doesn't wear brown overalls, but he is outside looking for 'O's...
As for his trophies, there's one third place trophy, a couple of seconds, and the rest are first place trophies!

I think I've sussed out who we have here guys......
