Do you all have your tuning and specialist work done at Subaru main dealers then?
i know why you would'nt want to take your car there because renault is a rip off and pulls your pants down on service work thats why the megane is so cheap

a clutch change is'nt tuning tho is it???

fair enough...which alternatives did you consider before plumping for the Renault? I ask because you are obviously not short of a bob or two if you run an AMG S class and had a GT3RS...so wondered what you considered alternatives where cost was not (?), a limiting factor.

Come on, just admit it, that aint a bad price for a Megane clutch change.

Fair question. I had a Clio 172 and it was a geat little motor. Looking at replacements at the time, the Megane R26 was the best performing and best value bit of kit at the time. Cheap to get to 270 Bhp, LSD, 4 Pot Brembo's and good standard kit. OK, Renault, but that is not a big issue. The cost was a limiting factor as would be a hack and also do the odd pre race season circuit famil track day.

What my expectation bubble? Not a 968 Sport in disguise is it?

Have you sent him to the kitchen? He seems to have gone very quiet.

I quite like the look of the R26, I like the proportions but unlike the various Cleo sport derivatives (which I thoroughly enjoyed test driving), I've never driven one so can't comment on it's dynamics. I've run into a few on the road and was always a little surprised that they don't seem as quick as their smaller stable mate?

What do you race (apologies if you are repeating yourself but I'm not reading this whole thread again...I'm a bit bored today bot not that bored...)?

Same applies. I'm not making a challenge. You can accept whatever you wish.

no its not bad but k tec is in bournmouth and they are pretty much the only renault tuner left as the 2 andys from BB are only really selling the odd bit and picking and choosing what they do, so ktec is a bit out the way for most???

Top marks to you, you've batted against many of us or here, and generally given a good account of yourself, but despite the rhetoric, when your bluff is called you can't come up with the goods.

968 in disguise? Not even close

I would only send Ark to the kitchen if I wanted something else broken, but that's another thread...

He's probably outside 'tinkering' with his 'tatty old 924' or polishing his racing trophies

What do I race? Well not AWD. Just RWD and over 300 Bhp/ton. If I put the car up here it will be obvious who I am and that is not me.

So it wouldn't be obvious it's you, if it's not you?

Anyone else confused?

I can see who's the governor here.

Is the chappie in his brown overalls with the Duraglit as we speak?

Do tell us what trophies he has in the cabinet.

shame I was interested to find out if it was something I could have a go in\passenger ride

unfortunately not putting up opens you up to all sorts of keyboard warrior\billy BS accusations.

Thats one of the reasons I don't advertise it.

Also, only a single seat.

Let's face it, any bloke that reckons he's the boss is either lying or out of earshot!

He doesn't wear brown overalls, but he is outside looking for 'O's...

As for his trophies, there's one third place trophy, a couple of seconds, and the rest are first place trophies!

I think I've sussed out who we have here guys......
