Is it me or does this car just look a little dull/plain, in my opinion?
Apart from the S201 that's what the S series is all about they are visually subtle by design but under the skin of the car is a different story it has everything Sti had in the parts catalogue fixed to it. It's one hell of a car trust me I know it well
I now own 007/600 and she has somewhat evolved since this thread was formed. She was sold again in 2014 by Torque GT and then again in 2016 this time to Whiteline UK. They proceeded to use the car as a demo car and basically fitted the entire Whiteline catalogue to the car, dont worry purists nothing was hacked or chopped and can go back to std if required as i have the std struts and ARB's. The turbo was swapped for a Owen Devlopments 470 rated turbo, Chevron Top Mount, larger 1000cc injectors and capable fuel supply was fitted and finished with a map from AndyF. The TI exhaust was swapped for a full turbo back Hayward and Scott, still got the original system. Still got all the std parts except the turbo. She now sits at 470/470. I bought her in Aug 2019 from a friend who bought her from Whiteline. Currently she sits at 34k miles and is immaculate
Now i am selling her as being 6ft 4in i do not fit in the seats very comfortably for any period of time but before i sell her i wonder if, and this is the reason Google brought me back here is, does anyone has a contact email for Immy (juggers). I understand bit of a long shiot as was last logged in back 2015 but there is something that is super weirds about the car applied model code i hope he could shed some light on before i sell her on
Probably about 13 years since my last post on here
What's weird about the Applied Model code??
It's a Revision "F" GDB model built between 2005/04 and 2006/06
Applied model code should be GDBF4KH as listed below from the Subaru JDM Parts Database

Yeah everything on Google points towards this car having a GDBf4KH but this car has a GDBF4FH code which Google says is a Spec C RA
Turns out Google is incorrect on this one as the carvx report matches every chassis number i have from import MOT and receipts so she is 100% an S204 but she comes with an inexplicable Model Code. TorqueGT that sold the car in 2014 have confirmed this info as they checked the VIN against one coming up[ for auction tomorrow and it was consectively numbered. Dean from Type RA also has encountered this issue before with cars having unusual model codes but being 100% genuine
My hunch is the Impreza Motor Company was regarded as a low volume manufacturer and to get the cars on the road with out costly Type Approval, they used applied model codes from a Spec C RA/V Limited but the true reason we may never find out. Just need to put it down to one of those odd things with the Japanese Motor Industry practises
Thanks

When you say "this car has a GDBF4FH code" what do you mean, on the ACTUAL VIN plate attached to the car or on the UK V5 document ???
Also as you can see from the table I posted above GDBF4FH ties in with a Spec C for that revision, which has the same Vehicle code (GH-GDB).
Impreza Motor Comany was formed to build the S series of cars. They were not part of the Gentlemans agreement and there fire were not party to the terms of that agreement including the 280hp cap
The actual VIN plate that is rivited to the car has the Applied Model Code of GDBF4FH and google and everyone is saying a S204 has GDBF4KH

S204 007 in 2021
Someone was looking for an S204 recently, if you're advertising you should put a link up. I quite fancy one of these but can't justify buying now as I still haven't even taken delivery on my RA yet! Lovely looking car.
Damn, I remember this car now! I test drove it 6 years ago when I was thinking of doing a deal against my FSTi.
It had a K&N cone filter, straight through centre section and had been remapped by BR.
It went like stink and sounded awesome!
Imported in 2009 and first sold by Performance Cars Manchester. Folder full of history since import in 09 where it would have to went through an extended SVA test as it was less than 10 years old at time of import
34,000 miles, verified by previous MOT history
Standard specification was basically the best of everything with some parts built specifically for the car. Rose jointed suspension, Mechanical plated rear diff, Lightened and stronger parts all arouund
The car was owned for a period by Whiteline UK and basically has the entire Whiteline catalogue on the car.
Whiteline Max C coilovers
Front and Rear ARB and solid drop links
Polybushed all round
Anti Lift kit
Castor adjustment kit for the subframe
Standard Yamaha front and rear harmonic dampers are still fitted
Standard STI pink Rose Jointed trailing arms are stil fitted
Standard Pink Struts and Anti Roll Bars are available
Engine is the EJ207 with AVCS
Standard position Owen Development Turbo rated to 470hp on a 2.0
Chevron Motorsport Stafford Top Mount with upgraded pipework and Turbosmart recirculating blow off valve. Standard STI top mount is available
Uprated Bosch in tank pump with uprated Turbosmart Fuel Pressure regulator feeding ANSU 1000cc injectors. Standard injectors, FPR and rails available
Grimmspeed oil vapour recirc system
Alternator cover signed by Solberg, Phil Mills and David Richards
Mapped by Andy Forrest with 2 maps. Low boost is 1.1 bar and about 320hp and 2nd map is 1.6 bar with 470/470
Millers Nanotech Oil changes every 2000 miles. New Air Filter and PFR7b plugs this week. Timing Belt and tensioner was done in Whiteline ownership but no proof so will probably get this done before sale
Uprated clutch has plenty of bite and feels strong
Turbo back Hayward and Scott exhaust system with wrapped snakehead downpipe, the standard STI Titanium backbox, centre pipe and cat available
Nothing on the car has been cut or chopped and could go back to standard if required. I have all the standard parts available except the turbo.
The car is in near factory condition with zero rust anywhere on the vehicle top or bottom. Only reason for sale is I don't fit in the standard Recaro very comfortably being 6ft 4. I have thought of many options but none really appeal to me.
Standard STI Brembo calipers fitted with Performance Friction pads and dics with plenty of ife left on both pads and discs
STd BBS in great condition with Advan Neova tyres with about 4mm all around
Front Zunspeed lower grill
Interior has the std Recaro in excellent condition, it also has the ultra rare DAMD steering wheel. Defi pod on dash with Boost, Oil Pressure and Oil temp. There will be a Kenwood Bluetooth head unit and cubbyhole fitted prior to sale
Last MOT was in Feb but due to the plague it was less than 500 miles ago. Passed with zero advisories. She is going for another MOT next week sometime
Lower 2.0 tax rate due to JDM

She has the std airbox refitted and the turbo has been swapped out for a Owen development turbo rated to 470hp on a 2.0. Before the 204 i had a V10 RS6 with 730hp Stage 2 map and this feels just as quick up to about 120 but the huge difference is this thing can do corners like nothing else
