I can confirm that my car is a Type20 based on an STi Spec-C.
I paid for the car and Type20 conversion all before the car was ordered and imported from Japan .... with only 14 delivery miles.
The Porsche brakes and 18" wheels are optional extras on the Type20 and Type25, but standard on Litchfield's GP car.
The only difference between the Type20 and Type25 is the engine. Type20 is still the original Spec-C 2.0l engine tuned to 360bhp and the Type25 has the Cosworth 2.5l block etc and tuned to 400ish bhp.

Hi 555
I think some of the handling changes are, the AST 12point adjustable suspension, Whiteline anti-lift kit, poly bushed, adjustable anti-roll bar.
The power mods are the exhaust (mine's the Cat version), tray filter, AFM is changed too I think (not sure), remap.
You'd need to speak to Ian at Litchfield to see what all the changes are, but whatever he did it was good enough to win Time Attack (as did the Type25 in it's class)
I also added the cold air feed the exhaust wrap from the turbo back which is how it's up at 360 instead of the expected 340
The SPEC-C also has a lot of extras on it to begin with.
Transmission cooler + Oil cooler
Quick Rack
Bigger inlet plenum
Wilder cams
Bigger valves
Better handling from factory (moot point as it's all revised with the Type20 package)
TwinScroll Turbo
different radiator
different water pump
Strut braces under the bonnet and in the boot
Automatic water spray
80Kg lighter than stock JDM STi
..... the list goes on

Yup, still for sale.
Just put a set of 4 of the new goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric tyres on last week. Didn't realise they discontinues the GSD3.
They seem about the same as the old F1's but feel better in the wet ... I recon anyway.
Here's hoping they last as long too (6 tyres in 20k)

Can't believe this has still not sold!!
I've got the 'other' black Hawkeye Spec C (only 2 in the country) and it's truely an amazing car, mine probably has the same amount of power but without the handling Type20 pack, and it handles much better than my old WRX with loads of suspension mods including BC coil-overs, ALK, ARB's, droplinks etc..
Can't imagine how well this one handles, must be fantastic!! They also accelerate like no other car I've ever had, the twin scroll is fantastic and at any speed, in any gear it just flings itself down the road!!
Good luck with the sale Callum

Iain had 2 Spec-C's in Time Attack.
The white one that won the unrestricted class and the black one that won the modified class. The racing driver drove the white one and Iain drove the black one himself.
Don't know what happened to it after TimeAttack tho.... I know they had the white one for a while afterwards

Callum I reckon if you readvertised, copying my advert (obviously revising details to suit yours) & really explained & emphasised what the Type 20 is & what a Spec C is (in full depth), then you will have more luck. I really think with a specialist car such as yours you need to completely educate perspective buyers on every fact & figure about the car. Buyers are generally lazy & may not spend the time & effort to do all the research themselves.
Just my two penith, but bump for a crackin car!

hmm .. pistonheads ad has expired - will need to make a new one
Hi. I don't know the dry weight, but I have friends with regular STi's that say they notice how mine transfers it's weight much better than theirs due to the weight loss (same suspension setup).
It also has a 50l baffled tank so it carries less fuel which no doubt helps a little.
The Spec-C tank is designed not to get fuel surge thanks to the baffles - not the same ones as in the regular STi.
There's hundreds of these little things on the Spec-C that on their own are small changes, but as a whole it makes it a completely different car to drive
Not sure if I could list them all.....
