guys Im going to suggest that we all go down as a club/drive to this venue, as stated I wont be putting my car on the rollers (simply because figures dont get me excited and can cause rivalry between friends)
however it think it would be a good day out to support our members who wish to RR there cars and it would be a good chance to take some nice snaps
Matt, is Scoobyworld aware re our fundraising........? could they donate a % to Acorns via us? Will they advertise our club?
cheers H

The best thing i can think of is if everyone donates £3 each and if this is definately going ahead and we start talking dates with scoobyworld then i will ask them if they're going to donate. Sound good H?

Alright buddy. More than happy to come along but got a rolling road printout the other month so wouldn't put it on the rr. Cracking idea though and like I said would still come along.

Just a quick update after a few peoples concerns regarding scoobyworlds cooling system on there rollers, I spoke to mike and he assured me that when doing 3 power runs there intake temps don't exceed 25c and the intake temp will also be displayed on the printout. There cooling fan is the one recommended by Dyno Dynamics themselves and many other places use the same system. Maybe some cases of other peoples intake temps being high maybe have been isolated but even on mapping sessions there they have no issues. Any other questions please feel free to ask. The list is upto 7 just need 3 more

Hi all
Just to clarify, we have never had any issues whatsoever with cooling temps during rolling road days, so not sure where this rumour has come from, but its certainly not true.
The fan we use is the one recommended by Dyno Dynamics themselves and is used by many other tuners. It normally makes more noise than the cars themselves and powerful enough to take you off your feet if you stand in front of it!
This is placed just a few feet in front of the cars and we never see AIT rising substantially during dyno days runs.
Our dyno is in use every day (in fact I cant remember the last time it didnt get used during the day) for either dyno runs or mapping, and we've had all manner of cars on it from Fiats to a Ferraris (F40 being our fav) and Fiestas to Focus Rs's and obviously hundreds of Subarus.
Our dyno is also used by several different manufacturers for product testing and development.
If anyone wants to pop down and have a look before the day itself, you're more than welcome, let me know and I'll show you around.
During a dyno day we normally run the cars 3 or 4 times until maximum power is reached, before unstrapping and removing the cars. Graphs showing bhp, torque, boost (if required) are provided after. All cars are correctly strapped down and each is calibrated using the dynos roller tacho before running.
We've got several videos of cars running on our dyno at this link if you want a looksy Welcome to Monster Motorsport (the other side of our business being 'Monster Motorsport')
Hope that clarifies matters
Any questions let me know

Do you guys mind if i ask the lads from toyotagtturbo? so that way this event can go ahead to make up the numbers and get more money for charity.
Let me know what you guys think there a great bunch of lads and would be a great way for two car clubs to come together.
