My loud exhaust, "chav" valve and stereo are for me to enjoy MY car, not for some un-washed hoodlums to "respect"....

I have a BOV, car runs perfect, has run perfect for ages, No problems at all. Makes a noise that I like when I change gear.
No blown MAF, No bore wash. At some point between now and another 100k miles my engine probably will go, its on 117k as it is, If I post on here some will say its had a good life, others will say the BOV did it.

I am yet to find anyone that has DIRECT proof a BOV ruins an engine, I know people that say it might have been a BOV or I have heard about a BOV doing it, but no one with DIRECT proof.

If you like the sound get one, they do nothing else apart from make a noise, but if thats what you want then do it.
As for chav..... We all drive imprezas, except it or not they pretty much go hand in hand with being a chav.
None of us think of ourselves as chavs, I would not have thought many of us would like to be considered a chav, I just cant get worried about what other people think about my car, my BOV or the mechanics of it all.

Conclusion:
If you want one get one, they sound cool IMO and they dont harm your engine.
