I know it sounds like a stupid question , but someone said "the front towing eye is not road legal and should not be used on the road"

Anyone shed some info on this please ???

Chris - I'm after them in red, but the richer and brighter red that you do. Any specific order instructions or just order them up via paypal (info@cdfracing.co.uk) and if it allows, put it in the notes what colour to do them in? Thanks

Yes mate, just leave a note with the colour,

we are doing these in red, blue, hard and orange....

I posted up some pics on page 4 of how i mounted mine. I had to extend it using fairly heavy duty plates to get the length to stick through the fog light cover. If Chris made this style long enough to allow it to be bolted to the chassis leg, like i have done, then he would have a product that would fit classics with and without a FMIC.

Chris - lovely stuff, I'll need to wait til pay day at the end of the month, but will have my order in then

Arch - I like what you've done there and esp like how you've got the pipe work done on your fmic with the in and outlets at the top of the core

If it is permanently fitted it will contravene some regulation because it is an extrusion likely to worsen injuries to a pedestrian in the event of a collision. If it is used in the same way as the factory one and only fitted when needed there will be no problem. If you leave it on it will all depend on how particular your local plod/MOT testers are

To hang, but in the event of actually being used, to lift.

Chris, you know originally you said there were two types of red available... is this still the case?

Just coz that red looks like the deeper red and there was a brighter red option offered after?
