Chris its cool I just assumed they were designed to fit in a specific place. I have one of these fitted to the race RA and it is bolted to the LH chassis leg and comes through the LH fog cover. I have the bumper off at the min and can put up some pics if it helps. I looked all over the front of mine for somewhere suitable and this was the only logical place I could find. It does require slotting the fog light cover to fit it. I just wondered if I had missed something and hoped your design maybe fitted somewhere without having to cut the fog light cover or bumper.

Hi Guys.

Sorry I havent posted yet.

Car still off the road and I am not getting home till dark everynight,

Had a quick look yesterday , the rear is no problem.... will be a universal fit for all subarus

I know I still need to design something,...... will do my very best to get something up on the screen tomorrow night! although it will be like the nukabe one if that is ok,.

Prices, well for the rear anyway £35+vat ,
I see peeps are hoping for around £25, which unfortunatly I cannot do , looking at ebay prices all those parts are mass produced , and after I take out material, anodising ,wages etc even for £35 prices are very tight

But one you get the finished product you will see the quality is there! will come as two piece with high tensile zince plated bolts.

If anyone has any info on the fronts please let me know, and ues I will do a deal on front and rear .... like £60+vat for both ,

Cheers for waiting for me guys, we have loads on at the moment and not enough hours in the day!

and yes I am still here!

Chris -sorry car away having some work done on it but will hopefully put some pics of the front one i have fitted at the min, but the pics will be with the bumper off. I doubt you could mount it horizontally and certainly not at the cross member for mounting the radiator bottom mounts as that is not structural and would not take the load. It really has to be bolted to the chassis legs or to the current tow eyes underneath on the classic but it would need to be welded onto the standard eyes.

Is that enough material around the eye to tow the car?

I cant do any colouring like that, all we can do is anodise them after they have been made , all the designs will be the same as it causes to many delays putting them back up on the machine for custom writing, if you dont want anything on them however that is not a problem

cant compare them mate, they are mass produced parts, plus the first one looks a **** desgin and poo colour, and the second peice of tow rope which will drag in all the shote on the floor.

CDF (chris) just an idea but

as for the colour it would be a big help to me not sure for anyone else if you were able to pop up some pictures of products that you have supplied in the avalible colours.
dont think it really matters on what products they are just more the case of what my idea of anodised blue may not be how it turns up, if that makes sense.

and i will be up for the rear and maybe front depending on fit etc

Just found them today after speaking to a couple of people and thought I'd share the information. Personally I'm not into bling, I want kit that functions correctly at a reasonable price and these meet those requirements. They are for towing my car in the event of an accident at the track, not polishing them on a Saturday afternoon. The cost differential in this case is too great for me to ignore and although the CDF tow hooks are very nice I can see no additional gain in functionality.

Not knocking Chris in the slightest, he's a very nice man from whom I've brought plenty of kit in the past and never had any issues. Good luck with the group buy.
