I am looking for help from anyone who knew Stuart howatson
He came out of jail earlier this year - he did not serve his full sentence
He is back to his old tricks, except now he is wearing a mercedes uniform
Please can anyone give me some history on him - when did he start living in a fantasy world and how has he been found out in the past?
All help appreciated greatly

Here is the uote from a local newpaper
A BEWDLEY con man who spent several years pretending to be a Metropolitan Police officer has been jailed today.
Stuart Howatson, 31, conned family and friends - including his own wife - into believing he was a policeman, but was eventually exposed following a tip-off to the Met’s Anti-Corruption Command.
Howatson gave various accounts of his role in the police, claiming variously to be an armed officer, a dog handler, a senior officer on sabbatical, and even a protection officer for the Queen.
Before his wedding in 2006 he told prospective guests that Sir John Stevens, then Commissioner, would be attending, and set a dinner place for him at the reception.
When Sir John failed to arrive on the day, Howatson explained his absence in his speech, saying security issues had stopped him attending.
After honeymooning at a Spanish villa owned by friends, Howatson offered to buy the property for £720,000, and convinced the friend a recent inheritance meant he had the funds to buy without a mortgage.
He prevaricated for nearly two years, stalling the supposed purchase with a series of bounced cheques and excuses.
He even created false bank statements that showed monthly deposits from ‘Met Police’ and ‘MPA’, in attempts to prove his finances were sound, in the meantime taking several free breaks at the £1200-a-week property.
In 2007 he gave an educational talk, in uniform, at a nursery school where a family friend worked, talking about police work to the children and showing them examples of police batons.
Howatson was arrested at his home in Millside Court in October 2008 after intelligence about his activities was passed to the Met.
A search of his home uncovered a substantial amount of uniform, which he later claimed to have bought on eBay.
During subsequent enquiries, officers examined a number of Howatson’s computers, and discovered a number indecent images of children, for which he was further arrested.
Howatson was sentenced to 20 months in prison. He pleaded guilty over several hearings at Worcester Crown Court to possession of articles of police uniform, possession of an offensive weapon, false accounting, fraud by false representation and possession of and making indecent images of children

To be fair the sentence never reflected the "indecent pictures of children" onlyy the cop offences. So behaps only pictures of his own child naked as a baby. As a Most parents have and cops used this to discredit him further.

So he's innocent of possessing indecent images of children , yet pleaded guilty?

'making indecent images of children' it says in the report.
I hope to god the police don't take your own children in the bath etc as this or Im guilty also?
I suppose you will never get to know the full story.

For indecentcy offence alone he would have got more "Time" than the FAKE policeman charges etc etc .....
As said I have and Doc above and nearly every Parent has Picture of their own children in the Bath etc. We would all have to plead guilty of possession, but then would put imitigating circumstances that they were nothing more than Family snaps of our own that all Parents have.
IMHO
Dont get me wrong ALL peado's need their "Organs" chopped off then fried infront of them and then made to eat them

This is a bit of a long story but I'll try and keep it short. Basically my girlfriends younger sister is f1 daft, and said on twitter she would love a job in f1 on her profile. Along comes a guy calling himself achmelchett on twitter saying he works for Mercedes and could get her a job. She sent him her cv and told me about it tonight and I smelt a fish. The email he sent her was from some consulting company, so I searched further to find this thread about a conman on my beloved Subaru forum. Is the guy at all dangerous or is he just some harmless guy living on cloud nine? Should it also be made known that he is using twitter and possibly trying to con people again under a new name?

There was no mention of the "Indecentcy offence" in the sentencing. Any sentance like will automatically put him on sex offenders register, so WHY wasn't he ??

If it's the same guy on twitter, he is now calling himself Steve Clark, operations director at Mercedes GP. I will contact Mercedes tonight and see what happens. For entertainment value, I will post up the results.
