There has been plenty here (Wolves). Started at about 11.05 and is still going.
It isn't that heavy at the moment. Only it's falling straight on top of last weeks that showed no signs of melting!

Roads clear in York now and melting fast!
Car parks and such are still covered in mashed potato.
GT3 wouldn't crank enough to start so on a charger now. Big old engine to turnover with a 'motorsport' mini battery!

Thawing in Newmarket and although the Metoffice site said we'd have heavy snowfall yesterday and Friday we had none on either day. Apparently we've more coming according to Yahoo news but nothing on the Metoffice site. ??????
Waiting to hear that the drains can't cope due to the amount of thawing snow and to expect flooding.

Where?? Theres a light dusting round my office!! Spent more time avoiding the muppets cr4pping their pants than looking at the snow coming in this morning.
Guessing the return trip from WGC to Sandy will be worse tonight, oh look, snow and dark. *parrrrrrrp*

Anyway, I suspect, our 2010 winter will be a cold one. Ski season starting earlier than last year (6 weeks).

And up the road from you in Harpenden, pretty heavy snow here too. Had a call from my daughters school to go and pick her up as the teachers dont want to get snowed in and not get home tonight.
On a brighter note, my knobless Ceramic Hob has arrived from Surrey, only one week late due to the snow. Foof knows how he will get home again

Been snowing all day here in Wolves. Its actually a pretty good snowfall now.
So much so, it's taking me back to my youth and I actually want to go and pelt the neighbours with snow *****!

We had a phenomenal snow fall here again overnight. It was thawing a bit yesterday, and I was hoping for all of it to vanish soon. But it belted down since 1AM early morning, reminding me of last Tuesday's performance. It still continues.
