i am on my first scooby a 97 uk turbo.bloody love them now and thinking of going for a newer model.the 99-00 can be re-mapped where the 97-98 cant but i find that limits how much people can bugger about with them.mine runs 247 bhp with sensible mods and standard boost and keeps up with wrx,sti no probs.just look for something with good history,belts done when they should be and if it isnt spot on walk away as there are loads out there to choose from.

 

Sport again mate, thats a non turbo. You should search for turbo 2000, that is the turbo model that will suit your budget I feel.
