Just a quick couple of questions.

On the day what are the sound levels for brands hatch?

I believe the static test is 105db?
But like do they do a limit on the drive by?

Such as Bedford have a 87.5 drive by limit.

Last one, is there a shell garage near by as the car is mapped to vpower and not to sure how it will run on other makes of fuel I don't want it to be knocking it's **** off

thanks

Garage nearest is Texaco sometimes circuit 98 ron fuel is available, if concerned bring some octane booster, Nearest shell not sure Im afraid

Static is 105 for Indy, there is no drive by limit see circuit reg below during the last 3 years I am not aware of cars being pulled once on track for noise.

Monitoring of Drive-by Noise Levels
MSV may monitor drive-by levels using noise meters located at appropriate locations around the circuits. If the results of
the monitoring show that a particular vehicle is generating drive-by sound levels appreciably higher than vehicles with
comparable static test results, then MSV staff may notify the Client or Participant; the relevant participant must not take
any further part in the event until he/she has addressed the noise levels generated by the vehicle to bring them within
acceptable limits.

Cheers guys thanks for the heads up on the fuel, just don't like to put anything other than vpower in the tank as that's what bob set it up for.

Thanks stormyc I appreciate it, I only ask as I was a Bedford on Saturday and the car run 92.4 static but on the drive by meter after a few laps
and the confidence kicking in I was getting very close to setting it off at 87.5 driveby it was not the exhaust note but the induction noise and turbo chatter as bob set it up to run with no dumpvalve so was just a bit worried as it kinda spoils the day as inhad to short shift so much not to set the meters off

Donnington might be dead unfortunately.

The dug a lot of the track up to get it ready for the F1, but now they have lost the F1 contract they've shut the place up, and i haven't heard of any plans to re-open/re-build the place

Question

Evo looks more like Brands to me - taken from the top of Druids looking down towards Graham Hill bend - the Craners are/were a bit different.

Hopefully someone will buy Donington back - I saw a quote saying a million quid would reinstate the track. Maybe Dr Palmer might like to add it to Brands, Snetterton, Bedford etc?
