As you would expect, they are dealers and want to make a profit.

Free market economics, sometimes it works in your favour, sometimes it doesn't, such is life in a capitalist society.

About right I suspect as a private seller. Spec C's are around £2k premimum over a JDM STI of similar mileage and condition.

the amount of interest i had for it made me think that i should have sold it it for a bit more. But i was told that this price is about right. people from italy, Germany and all over uk were dying for it.

pity that i need an auto for a few months otherwise i would by buying my brothers 450+ bhp jdm hatch built by litcho. Also for sale if you guys are interested at a very fair price.

I am a trader if it's worth 17k private and I am going to stick my money in a car which will most likely be sat there for x amount of time then I will want a decent return. I also have to tally in the time it will take to sell the car, depreciation and other social and economic issues such as road tax and petrol prices. Not everyone has 17k to buy a Toy.

He understood and had no issues with my offer other than it was not enough for him.

Anyway good luck with the sale it's a very nice car and am sure it will be sold soon.

Immy

Not good immy, sure there will be another buyer around soon. How come you don't advertise your cars in the traders car section mate?

How are things for you anyhow?

There’s always buyers mate

Things are ok my end I will be delivering two new white spec c's to customers just in time for the new 11 reg and I have a few in stock.

I used to advertise on here however the trade accounts on here are not cheap. The likes of Litchfield don't advertise on here neither most likely due to the costs. It was like £300 a month back in 07/08 it works out less for me to advertise on Piston heads and Auto Trader which I find more effective.
