Having started this thread over a year and a half ago I figured I had better post some pics of mine. Having gathered everything over a year ago I just got round to finally doing something with them in the last couple of weeks

Looks good. Did you have any problems going aftermarket with the steering wheel, and what did your insurance company say?
Two things that have put me off

No problems whilst insured with KM, and easy job to do, 2 torx bolts to get the airbag off, puller for steering wheel, and connect up the horn - just make sure you get a decent boss kit and not an ebay special - Works Bell seem to be about the best

Steering wheel was least of worries given all the mods I've done. Everything declared though. I got an OMP boss, from Merlin Motorsport I think it was, but be aware it doesn't fit MY2005 onwards - has to be modified

Check out Next Round of Modding thread on SIDC if you want the story behind the wheel

I've done mine, I changed a 98 UK wheel for one off a WR1.

I chickened out at an aftermarket one, although I REALLY fancied a Momo "Fighter" in red and black at the time. Would have been cheaper than the WR1 too.........

However, given what I now have seen happens to Momo gearknobs, I think I made the right choice

There is a serious lack of good quality small/neat 52mm pods for a newage Iv tried the Nomad racing one that Scoobyparts sell which is pretty bad quality & the ATI one is £135! Even the ATI is too big and more like a 60mm sized one. There aren't any small good 52mm pods for a newage I had a really nice Zerosports 52mm pod for my classic but not available for newage & also over £150!

52mm A pillar pods are ok but I dont like the way they all protrude towards the windscreen, obscuring your view more. Why can't you get A pillar pods that stay in line with the A pillar & come forward towards you, rather than go away at an angle towards the windscreen. In effect making the A-pillar wider/thicker & obscuring your vision more?

I have the boost gauge, volt gauge, air/fuel ratio and fuel pressure gauge (with sender unit) available. They are a doddle to fit. Power, earth and signal wire were required.

Gonna go with a Drift Iridium setup in the Scoob, like these

Those Drift gauges look very good, pricey though.
