Well we too had an interesting journey........and that was just trying to get out of the Lodge! We had a close look at the brick gate posts!
I think we stayed about 30 minutes too long!
Was pretty bad until we got to Stansted, then it cleared and there was virtually nothing.......until we left the M11. The A505 had some serious drifts, and was more than a little scary at times. As we came into Royston there were abandoned vehicles an a stranded HGV.....
Ark then decided as we were nearly home it was time for some sideways fun, just in case it was all gone today!
Woken up this morning to find it is still white over & school is closed!
Thanks for everyone's concern! Hope everyone else was okay - think it's only Brian & Trace I've not heard from that left at the same time?
It was all worth it though - brilliant night, great company, oh & Kev, what snow?

Yep, we made it home fine. Glad you guys did too.
Different story today, the Renault Trafic is pants in the snow. Had a few "moments" on my way to work before the phonecall to say the job is postponed, so then had to battle home again. Nearly didn't make it back up the slight incline on our road though!
Time to get the Scoob warmed up.

Excellent drive home once I discovered her oil burning ( Diesel ) BMW had traction control and I found the switch to turn it OFF.
Then we were getting some excellent drifts going all within the small printed guidelines in the back of the highway code book of course. ( very small print almost invisible to the naked eye)
Glad everyone else got home safe
