If HE can get them, your local dealer should be able to, or I'll get them and post them you at cost.

For your dealer, Home | Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. > Garages > local dealer > enter postcode

Yes, I think it was. A pair of Hellas ought to be a direct replacement, no wiring needed.

Also, look at Stevo210's pics: his have clear acrylic covers over them, available from Susquehanna MotorSports - High Performance Vehicle Lighting and Competition Accessories, me and dunx have some too

Be aware that you will need mounting brackets if you buy the lights separately.... see Stevo210's link for a supplier.

Don't they come with brackets, dunx? I thought they fit the same way as PIAAs?

I've never seen the PIAA's.....

But the single unit from from Hella is likely (?) to just have a swivel bolt mount (?)

Sasquatch mo. sport do the "real" Subaru brackets as an extra, the P/N could be traced over here ?

P.S. My PIAA's were the big fellas, but they now use plastic mounts that (obviously !) can't be welded to....

Are they the same brackets as Prodrive did for them in the kit?

Three bolt holes that coincide with the foglight bolts, and a single hole bracket for the lamp?

The PIAA's come with everything you need to fit and wire up if you buy the scoobyorld PIAA kit like this one:

Lighting - Impreza 1993-2000 : Subaru Impreza PIAA Driving Lamps

....or you can buy any of the parts seperatley from PIAA direct:

PIAA 80XTLAMPS

Be aware that some classics with front mount intercooler kits fitted dont allow for fog/drive lamps to be retained as the pipework to the intercooler passes very tightly to the back of the driving lamp reccesses, mines was ok though if a little tight with the pipework, i run an autobahn front mount on my 99 RB5....just thought i would mention that in case

What are those P1 lights like? Are yours HID and have you ever compared them with, say, Hella 1000FFs?

They're better than the old 1000's that were on there before, but as per my previous post this isn't probably the fairest comparison as they we're pretty tatty (on the car when i bought it)

No they're not HID, i baulked at the £300 price tag (& sit down before asking for a price for pukka P1 hid's at the dealers!) ...plus H1's supposedly suffer the least amount of scatter when converted with a *decent* HID kit ...so i'm going down this route

ill post up some pics when they're in (although my HID converted Morettes & their 100w H2's might distort the result the a bit, as my spots are set up as driving lights & only come on with main beam)
