It would be interesting to see the graph of number of 'live' users on here over the last, say, 5 years. There's going to be noone left to turn off the lights at this rate!

 

I have had the odd childishly unpleasant PM in the not very recent past.

Last year I went offline for about nine months after someone I had never heard of before or even noticed started posting about how I should watch out and he had been talking to people offline about where I lived.

He wasn't very good as he was only about 210 miles out - but it was still unnerving. It was not as if it was someone I had connected with at all.

 

T'was the reason I left this palce for about 2-3 months last year too. Recieved some absolutely disgusting material from a member who many on here claim to like and/or think made the place more lively.

Needless to say I realised tis only the internet and chilled out a bit as none of the promises came true funnily enough.

 

Even my limited knowledge of quantum physics is insufficient to comprehend how infinitesimally small peoples lives have to be, to pm insults and threats to people on an internet forum

If that post was aimed at me after our PM convo then I can assure all of SN that not once did I make any threats towards COB! If not then hey ho

 

Blimey I never knew this kind of BS was going on, I can tell you it's a real eye-opener
