I wont be in the Scooby as front right CV boot split at some stage & pis$ed out all grease onto inside of wheel Also I am almost below the legal tyre wear limit of 1.7mm on all 4 tyres & dont want to risk getting pulled & get 3 points per tyre!!!!

Hoping to get CV boot replaced; ARB adjusted; full alignment & then Vredestein Sessantas in next couple of weeks. Then all is done..at last.....I hope!

ps look out for me with my Lexus rear lights

Those tyres in Mags's shop are'nt legal tread limit either I reckon, Mantaz?

I only 6 miles a day Mags so I should be able to see these tyres out for a few more weeks.

I went to one of their geriatric fayres at Ruislip Duck pond few months ago, it was a Medieval Fayre with a re-enacment of the War of the Roses & camps & Morris dancing...the works! Though admittedly I only went as a day out with the little one as the wife had buggered off to New York on a girlies holiday

Yeap, its becoming MSOC's winter break location who's next???? Sheik Guv maybe

We had a really great time a real relaxing holiday. I have to say its a real cheap place to holiday out in - Would definitely recommend the following....

Excursions
* Cairo day trip (100 EGP - inc. flights)
* Luxor trip - went there 2 years ago, a great place to visit (valley of the kings/queens etc)
* Snorkelling and loads more stuff to do........

Food
* Old Market area and try 'el sheik' cafe on the corner for some authentic local food
* 'Kan Zaman's Fish Market' (Open air restaurant in Naama bay)
* 'Indian House' (sorry but was missing my Dal and Tandoori - again in Naama bay but they have them everywhere coupled with 'Thai House'
* 'Fairuz' (a Lebanese restaurant in Naama bay)

Transport
A must is the local buses (basically small vans that you hail down) Only 1EGP to travel
Cabs are a rip off in comparison but for us their still cheap when we convert it back to GBP

No Hassel
* You'll get hasselled mate...... "come into my shop", "no hassell!". At first its funny but it can get on your nerves, then again their just trying to make a living. Everything is priced 3 times as much as we're tourists....... Haggling its the only option!

Oh yeah, everything's fake there! Even in the branded shops they say its all original, "good quality fake sir!". If you wanna pick up a fake (I mean original watch) the place is Old Market - massive selection of Tag Heuer, Rolex, Breitling, Bell & Ross, Graham, Omega, U-Boat etc....... was tempted but opted against it.

You'll have fun
remember these sayings "asda price", "bloody cheap as chips", you'll hear them alot
