B*llocks to the lot of you. Texting is brilliant as you can respond when it is conveinient as well as saying what you really think rather than being nice a pleasent during a phone conversation.

All the people that complain about texting are just old and out of touch with modern culture. Now 'do one'!

Haha, I'm 22!

I like it sometimes. For e.g., when you fall out with a girlfriend and need to worm your way back into her 'good books' when she won't walk to you. Gives you a chance to really make a good impression instead of being put on the spot and saying something she takes the wrong way, making things 100x worse.

I have found that keeping my mobile in the car and switched off means that I never get bothered by it, I can live a peaceful life, and text messages are of no consequence. Its handy to have it around in case of a problem with the car etc., maybe if like the breaks stopped!
