22nd Feb a date for your diary
Double grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Took the Scoob out to make sure that it would start in the morning. Drove it round to the BP to check the tyre pressures keeping the engine running. Got back in the car, BAAAAAAAAD smell of burning and smoke in the cabin. Didn't think a petrol station was a good for a car fire
so ran it back to near the house, killed the engine and opened the bonnet. Still an acrid smell which started to fade. Once I was satisfied I wasn't going to have a fried Terzo for my dinner I called the RAC out to have a look. Suffice to say he diagnosed a faulty alternator.
Looks like a trip back to the garage to get it sorted. I know one place it won't be going as I'll need it back by Christmas

From: Happy that I'm back in a Scooby - but maybe I should have told the wife...!
Our paths have`nt crossed this year yet and I`ve had my noise meter in the car since we last spoke about it. Still depending which car you`ve taken to Brands you could get it tested while you are there. Hopefully see you soon.
