and by the way, thanks for all your efforts to try and get this meet organised, see u at the 'Hut' 6-6:15 11/4/02...
while we are at it, everybody who reads this must have some idea for some meets, obviously the Dogs didn't appeal to everybody, but nobody indicated that earlier..... perhaps we should find out who is the 'official' regional organiser for SIDC for Essex, and make suggestions to him/her and then see if we get some excursions organised....

seriously, theres usually quite a crowd of us there from about 6:30, ordering our food, some people in Subaru related clothing, otherwise, look out for those who head turn rapidly to the sound of another scoob!

Sad about the dogs, give it another try later in the year.
I'm gonna give the Scobby an extra clean this weekend and will attempt to make it to the HH (work permitting) as this will be the first time I've seen any of the cars in the light (except for Knowlsey in his blonde wig,etc on the A127 the other morning).
Phil have safe trip and enjoy playing around or is that a round??

bit slow mate, with the cleaning that is.......
spent 4 hours giving it the full wax wizard treatment this weekend, the detox soap, the acrylic cleanser, then the lovely smellin wax.... that stuff is the danglies, it's like covering the car with a sheet of glass, beautiful....shame about the 'Polishers Wrist' repetetive strain injury it has invoked on my right wrist....
anyway, gotta pop out there to see it gleaming again now!!!

yeah, will be there, meeting at the maccy D's..think theyr'e gonna need a bigger boat...(car park!), never been on a Saturday, so don't really know the procedure, will have to be sharp and follow the masses...anyway, should refer to the proper thread really....

Seriously pi55ed off. Got home last night to find that someone had tried to nick my Fiesta. At first I thought it was an attempt to get to the Scoob as I hem it in between a wall and the Ford, however it's alright. I think it was kids as they managed to get into the car without damaging it but have totally knackered the steering and steering lock to such an extent that I think I'm gonna have to write it off, which is a bit annoying as it was my Mums old car and has only done 45000 miles since 1988. Anyone who can't nick a 14 year old Ford doesn't deserve to call themselves a car thief. The good news is that there are some really good fingerprints on the inside of the cowling. Essex old bill have done a first class job, came round to report it an hour after I phoned them, their fingerprints man came round this afternoon and has taken the cowling off for treatment so I'll wait and see the outcome. Had it been the Scoob it would have been ANGRY of EPPING and I would have been walking the streets with an AK47.
On a happier note, spent three hours cleaning the Scoob today and I didn't even get round to waxing it..Beat that Rob.
Anyway 8 days......

Hi knowlesy a quick"was it you" today on the bishop stortford road.(flashed you in my silver scoob as you came off the roundabout). Your car was gleaming, and got to say the tints looked great. Got home and started trying to convince my wife how much I need to buy a new scoob and WR blue it etc!

Won't be able to make it to Pizza Hut as they have now decided that I'm working 'til 8 at the earliest
. However, I will be coming straight from work so I should be there by (all being well) at about 8.30.
