Well I guess that answers the 'is it a one off' question?
Played 7, lost 6.
Carragher red card for a professional foul, well there's a surprise, after all he has been practicing them recently.

TBH Jamie has been a tad reckless in recent games but by all accounts both red cards were debateable
Pulling Torres off for Babel
Bad enough fielding a fourth string team but sometimes I'm staggered at Rafas decision making.

Bad luck to Tottering Totters fans same old same old

Lastly congratulations Chelski lets hope you can maintain your lead over the Manure that is Utd

Maybe we should start a new thread on the Off-side Rule detailing the merits of "active and non active play"

No, no, no, no, no!

Don't get me started on that one, whilst I understand the logic of the introduction of active / non-active play into the off side rule. As far as i'm concerned all it has done is added another grey area, worsening the big problem of inconsistency in refereeing decisions.

Lastly why the **** don't they allow a 4/5th official to use video evidence. We sit at home and know within seconds if it was a goal, was offside, an off the ball punch, etc. But have to watch the heated debates going on on the pitch because some players know what had happened and are frustrated that the officials have got it wrong.

Wink

I couldn't agree more maybe Fifa will liaise with us for a ridiculous consultancy fee and we could introduce reason into what should be a simple game. What do you think Yvette?

As for video evidence, we now have an infinite amount of time added to certain games already
Surely a quick chat as in Cricket or Rugger to check we have the correct decision cannot be that hard surely?

Then again, who are we to stop the 3 Spurs fans complaining about Old Trafford goal issues

It's a funny old game

Again this evening the ref makes a howler, the players knew it, most of OT knew, those of us watching knew it, even Andy Gray said it was a 10 out 10 penalty, but the ref books a player for diving.
Video replays, and the ref wouldn't look a fool, and the players and supporters would not be frustrated.

And that was never a spurs goal, Roy Carrol clearly saved it, well saved it from hitting the back of the net

That was as much a penalty as Fungus is humble

Nice to see Fungus berate the Ref as usual and complain about time-keeping, fancy that lol

Just so I know, do you have to finish 3rd or 4th to 'qualify' for the Europa league?

3rd place looks safe, as apart from the loss of £10m revenue, apparently the Europa leagues not all bad.
Just ask the Fulham and Everton fans

I guess that shows we don't get all the reffing decisions

Offside rule - as we said earlier fooking joke.
Oh well let's hope what goes around, comes around.
