a uk spec car is 215bhp and the same year import wrx is 260bhp whats to stop u swopping the uk ecu to the wrx ecu and same with the turbo i know u gotta swop cam and crank sensors over but thats an easy way to up the uk spec is it not?? not worth doing with the sti ecu due to diff cams etc but wrx swop should be ok.

WRX's of the MY99-00 UK era were 280ps not 260bhp UK turbo's were 208bhp until the facelift in '98, and the WRX's varied from 220-280ps from '93-2000.

my98 and my97 ecu are all shat. (non mappable) you cannot swap them with anything but a Bought mappable ecu.

Not without doing potential damage to your engine (as the turbo will give more power but the fuel/air mixture will go **** up).

Or something to that degree.
