Glad you got it back, I live bang centre to Peterborough and Cambridge, thinking i'm going to invest in more security to protect my car. Having the drive done soon i'm thinking of hydraulic rising bollards to be installed at same time so once up they can't easily be moved down
sorry about you car being taken! the problem with trackers is you can buy a blocker from a popular auction site, and when they use one of those the car will never be found, the best form of protection is kill switches.
and how would this operate exactly

how would what work? the kill switches? if its the kill switches its elf explanatory really, you fit a switch to cuircuit of the car that will prvent it from starting.

Any decent thief is going to be able to quickly track the wiring of a kill switch and soon bypass it, even more so if it's fitted somewhere convinient for the driver to activate before leaving the car.

Any average car thief will prob realise something is not right when it doesn't start due to kill switch and leg it

So it will be a extra protection method to a certain extent.

Problem is end of the day if someone 'REALLY' wants your car they'll take it regardless the efforts involved be it kill switches, CCTV, gates, bollards, etc. Sometimes it just adds to them wanting to use added forced entry to the house to demand owner opens gates, gives keys, starts car, etc.

It's horrible modern day society when thieves are always one step ahead and you can't 100% leave you car anywhere knowing that it's definatly safe
