He was not only a talented singer, but a great actor and sportsman too..
He will be missed.
I was walking around our local shopping arcade earlier and they were playing none stop BoyZone tracks, it was quite moveing...

33 is very young to die, I don't know much about him as the kind of music they play wasn't my kinda thing. But I feel sorry for his friends/family/partner who must be stunned that someone could just go to bed one night and not wake up at such a young age.

I can laugh at a joke about someone who has just died, honest, if it is remotely ironic or funny, or if they were a person that nobody liked in life that helps, so far the jokes have been **** and Stephen Gately a fairly innofensive, clean living member of a Boy Band who happened to be Gay, he was a bloke who preffered men to ladies and if he felt about blokes how I feel about women then far be it from me to condemn him, ffs he even left more for us ! I am not going to miss him, I am not a fan, he wasnt my mate, child, brother or whatever but I can empathise with those who are, mainly Girls and Gay men, but I am not so mean spirited not to feel some regret at a 33 year old guy expiring for no apparent reason, can happen to any of us you see.

I can assure you that Mr Gately expiring causes me little emotion but the way comedy is being treated really offends me....
It's only words, that is so poor, a Boyzone song title that is not even vaguely appropriate, personally I blame the water in Majorca.....

RIP Stephen Gately. All round good egg who didn't deserve to die so young.

Someone has died, at a young age and some people want to show their respects.
