Jon and Zena it will be good to meet you as well.

Steve (Spider) is bringing Mags along to but she is however having her hair cut that evening, so everyone comment on how nice it looks!!

BTW don't you just love taking corners!!

Cheeky beggar Scott!

Maybe Graham should just get Lesley to set up a salon in a quiet corner of the pub?!

Hope you bikers had fun in Reading today? M & I nipped home so we weren't hassled by you leather-clad macho types!! LOL

C U all Thursday

Cheers,
Steve

Plantie in which case I know Jon and Zena to see.

Spider - we got in to Reading, saw how busy it was, and since the lockers were out of action at The Oracle, decided to head back out again!! We then went for a nice ride out the back of Reading, etc... and of course stuck to the speed limits everywhere we went! To be honest, I'd forgotten just how quick they were, and how slow the Scooby is in comparison! Roll on those sunny days and we can turn up at the meets on our bikes, rather than in the car.

J I have thought about purchasing one, but until the wedding is all paid for then my finances are dedicated to this (and the XBOX ).

However, mail me with the type you got and how you paid for it, as I'd be interested to know. BTW I've seen your torque curve (oo-er!) not bad may I say!

G - you must be getting addicted to this, if you're posting at such an early hour!! I know you start work early, but still!

Jon, Planties driving is always like that, and he has to wait for all of us, when we go out for a drive! Or is it that we value our lives too much?

Hmmmmmm bikes. I am very tempted to start saving for one. Only thing is Lib will want one too, but shouldnt be a problem as her uncle is an ex-World Sidecar rider, and she has grown up in the 500cc/superbike paddock so knows the right people to get sorted bikes !

Scott....

Cheap and cheerful K reg Kawasaki KX250 , being serviced and MOT'd as we speak. Should be here by the weekend.

Cost £600.. had to haggle but there's a few out there. Equipment costs about £100 secondhand e.g. boots, armour & lid.

Dave... How about a road legal side car unit.. Now that would be cool ..

J - now thats a good idea.

The team Libs uncle prepares stuff for (Steve Abbot & co - World Championship leaders at the mo) have already offered to bring the rig to a track day and take people out for white knuckle rides !! Must try and sort that out this year !

Due to the mind controlling drugs I needed to take in order to buy the Eibachs, I completely forgot that I am flying to Scotland (in a plane) on Thursday afternoon. Sorry chap/esses I'll have to duck this one out.....give you a rest this time Jawa

Oh one thing though on the Eibach springs, what colour are yours Jawa/ScottW. I thought they should be grey???

On the exhaust fitting Jawa - LOL. No more exhaust for me, but I've been through Hatfield tunnel again

ScottW - The car feels alot better, going straight, braking, in the corners. However I had a quick gander underneath and notice that the rears looked blue'ish, but I thought I was getting the grey ones. I'll check with TN on the ones I should have got, for the price I paid.

Anyone recommend a hard-drive manufacturer. I'm looking at the 40GB IBM or Western Digital at the moment...anyone in the trade, who can do a good deal???

Iain,

I forwarded the email on to the chap, but I know that he was not in the office today, and therefore probably hasn't had a chance to read it.

He is however back in tomorrow as I will be speaking to him, and I will make sure he drops you an email.

Question

OK I'll be stopping by The Crispin on the way home tonight, and at the moment it looks as though 20 or so people are eating.

Is there anybody else lurking out there who might be interested in coming along and eating?

Just to let you all know that when you turn up tonight Pete (the manager) has said that we can take over the section to the far right as you enter the pub.

As G says see you all later!
