that audience isnt a cross section, all they have done is have a go at him.
i dont know anybody who doesnt think enough is enough regarding immigration, we are becoming aslop bucket for the world

he did well saying he wouldnt get invovled in middle east, just leave them to it.

i dont think many people want him to succeed its just that they have had enough and people are voting for him to make the other shower of **** take notice

Baroness Warsi dealt with the immigration question well - made Jack Straw look even more of an **** and did a good job of explaining why the BNP policy is wrong while recognising the legitimate issues.

Hooray, Chris Huhne is saying something.

Griffin's making a complete **** of himself now - he seems to be saying that everyone who can't prove their family has been in the country for 17,000 years has to leave. It's going to be lonely for the few left.

Is it just me (cos I am old) that thinks that there is something cute about Ms Warsi?

if Nick Griffin came to power, i really hope he would send home that woman to the right of him. She's more annoying that all the characters in Ugly Betty put together.

And I thought Gordon Brown had an unfortunate nervous twitch...

Worryingly the gap between Griffin and the mainstream political parties is so great there is little choice. It would be nice for a group to stand up that looks after the interests of this country rather than pandering to PC crap and the EU.

I'm bored and have switched off.
The only person who's earnt any of my respect is David Dimbleby.
Nick Griffin is slimey and odious, but he's just a more extreme example of the rest of the politicians on the panel.
I've got no time for any of them, I'm voting monster raving looney party next year, just like I did the last time.
astraboy.

I don't think Nick was allowed to answer ANY question put to him! the entire panel and the audience where against him from the start.

I have no problem with any race cread or colour of person in the UK provided then contribute to the country and obide by the fundamental cristian rules of the UK.

I have no problems wih muslims. hindus, blacks, muslims, chinese et all provided they realise that England is a christian country.

Other european countries can control imigrants so why can't the UK.

The whole program has been an attack on the BNP! I Live in Germany so am no **** but I think that Britain needs to re-evaluate its national identity and the BNP seem to represent Britain and are trying to get Britain British again.

How far youd you get if you wanted to build a cathedaral in Baghdad? and how far would you get by objecting and pleading racism to the Muslim Iraqi government or indigenous population.

Entire panel were sh1te - when they weren't all joining in attacking Griffin, and had to answer some serious questions themselves, they couldn't. How the hell did Jack Straw get into government at all?! The guys an idiot!

Interesting the questions from the audience they chose to answer as well! One guy asks "why are they still letting immigrants flood in, when there's massive and rising unemployment?", but no they won't discuss that one and move onto someone who is just making a comment attacking Griffin...

The woman arguing with him didn't do any better. She said the only Humans around in Britain 17,000 years ago were Neanderthals. Neanderthal man died out 30,000 years ago,

Pointless programme, unfortunately. The BBC went out of its way to say it was giving all elected parties a fair chance, and then succeeded in providing the most biased audience i've EVER seen on Question Time. Debate? Not even close...

Think Jack Straw was finished as soon as Nick highlighted the fact Jack's father was a conscientious objector in WW2.

I think they tried very hard to give him a length (oooh errr) but unfortunately it will lead to alot of people feeling that he wasn't given a chance as everyone was against him thus just reinforcing the opinion of people who where already behind him or where close to following his campaign.

If anything by BBC's useless handling of this debate, the BNP will have alot more members tomorrow, sadly.

Amazing. I finished that programme thinking Jack Straw was more of a **** than I did at the start. I didn't think that was possible.

Agreed that Griffin is a bit of a slimeball, but it would have been nice to have heard him actually get the chance to answer a question. Even if to let him shoot himself in the foot.*

SB

*Best if the foot is in his mouth at the time..

Can you blame the bloke, it was a bear pit. I doubt he gets much mainstream tv air!
