Hilary why the hell you think I would want to spend my christmas wading through cold mud is beyond me
Unfortunately unlike some of you where I work is 24 7 care so it is more than likely I'll be working.
So I am nominating you to take my place as your such an avid esc fan and organiser I think it's only fair

However, the week after this Ark & I are flying off for our first family holiday in more than two years
. He was keen to take part, but as I told him he couldn't (cos I wear the trousers didn't you know!!) then it would hardly be fair for me to go & do it. I can't risk him or me injuring ourselves, pulling something, or catching a cold!! We will of course be there to fully support all the guys (and girls?)!

Okay then - lets tackle this a different way - how about a bit of ESC / MSOC
(not the Budgie / YVM type....
)
A team of 6, 3 ESC members, 3 MSOC members - we can still have some inter-team rivalry as it is the first four over the line - ie 3 ESC followed sometime later by MSOC.....
TEAM ESC / MSOC

2. BRI4N
3. KevD Clean wheels
4.

So come on guys (or girls) get your names down this should be a fun post Christmas event - and far better than sitting round the in-laws in that hideous Christmas jumper drinking sherry and eating turkey sandwiches...

A little bit of exercise to run off that turkey, before you start on the New Year's Eve booze......?
We will defo be there to cheer you on!!

Bet that soft MSOC lot can't raise a team

Come on Guys & Girls - anyone else up for a bit of post Christmas fun...?
Teams of 4 - 6 people can enter, no specialist equipment needed - just an up to date Anti -Tetanus injection.......

Sunday 27th December - 1pm
Maldon Promenade
again all for a good cause

I will gladly take pictures / video of the event, however, unfortunately I will be unable to participate (just working on my excuse as to why!)

I think this would be a good challenge - especially for Team Budgie - if they're MAN enough.....

Sincere Apologies
Sorry guys - the Maldon Mud Race site has been down for a while - I have just logged in to print the forms off, only to be greeted by this message....
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
We would like to announce that we have now reached the maximum permitted entries
for the 2009 Maldon Mud Race and therefore are unable to accept any more entries for this year's race.
However, we hope you will join us on the 27th December 2009 and support the event!!

I am really sorry as I know how much you were all looking forward to it!!

We shall probably still go & watch!
Still, I guess that means you might be able to play golf now instead....
