Big thanks to Lin and Steve for setting this up, had a really good time and Eleanor loved it

I was really impressed with the guys there, they were very attentive to Eleanor's needs and safety

Looking forward to having another go, so is Eleanor.

 

Thanks again to Lin & Steve for arranging as it really was a great thing to experience. It has confirmed that I want to go further & will be doing more of this in the coming months

Echo what Mark said about the instructors

 

Glad you all enjoyed it, they are a great bunch down there, and thats only a couple of them.
Diving is a great sport and also comes with great fellow divers!

I will get some pictures of you all up later.

Also will try and sort another date for November sometime, if there any dates you can't make it please let me know, so I can ensure that everyone is available

Can we do another evening please?

 

Coz is still wanting to do this - nothing much booked for November.

Due to travelling a weekend would suit us better, but understand if the majority prefer a weekday evening. If you go for an evening the last week in October is half term & would be easier for us - just a thought!

 

Ok if you can put down, any dates you can't do in November and then I will try to work on that, I would like to try and arrange a weekend so that everyone that wants to attend can - so once I know I will sort a date/time so everyone can participate

We, or rather Coz, is free on 22 Nov!

You wouldn't need either of us to do it do you? (ie I don't need to get wet do I?)

 

I know, unfortunately there is a a fair bit goin on in October.

 

No you don't need to get wet, you can sit and watch and help your self to drinks (non alcholic of course)

 

had a great time again and i actually liked the way the instructors spent time with us afterwards to explain what we can do now.

Did laugh at the main instructor when i left, he said to me "you will make an excellent diver". Maybe, but it's 1 thing swimming around in 4ft deep water in a pool...but 10m + down in the sea maybe a bit different!!! lol


Hils, even though you will be going in Novemember dont wear anything to heavy, the pool is inside and gets a bit warm even just sitting on the side.

 

Spally how did you find your mask after you loosened it?

Oh and 10m is nothing, 28m is a little different lol

 

it was better, but i certianly would not be happy diving properly with it on. Will defo buy my own 1 if or should i say when i do the full bifta.

 

Having you own mask is a defo if you want to do it, going underwater everything compresses, therefore you don't need it tight if you have it too tight you will get mask squeeze which isn't good!

I am going to take the advice of the instructors & go for the course in Jan/Feb with a view to going on a holiday with them after qualifying
