How many do you think you could sell? Wouldn't be hard to get a mould made from it. Just need to make it cost effective.

Awesome project mate - respect

I'm with blu scoob, you need to keep the round arch look and keep it as faithful to the original as possible

 Eligible Vehicles and Vehicle Body Type
1. Vehicles must be constructed by a recognised vehicle manufacturer and currently/previously available as a factory OEM vehicle.

Thats me out for both club and pro vehicles then lol track days it is, bit of a bugger MSA taking everything over its stopping us budget builders getting into these sports

as for Blue-Scoob, Devildog and Brun that is looking every more likey now that it will be round arch so back to original plans then

i got work tomoz so back on the project sunday and poss in evenings also next weekend is a bank hol so will have 3 days

Hey all another well from 10 am onwards lol tis a sunday after all so for all you pic lovers here you go, few problems with the front which is going to have to be extended by about four inches so yet another snag

heres how i made the above used some poly pipe and trimmed to fit this pipe slides tightly over the roll cage tube the used that as a cut guide then ground down the insde to fit the tube

then i moved onto the front bracing from rollcage to struts tops

Repeated on other side

and just to show the front and the gap i am left with

hmm whats the plan with the gap then?

how does the gap come about is it because of the scoob engine sitting so far forward?

if so you could route the rad to the rear save you an inch or 2.

allready planned rad in the back front is tight to the pulleys at the moment so looks like it is going to have to be a extended front tbh needs to be about 4 inches so not sure what to do yet thinking caps required

Im loving the huge arches in that mini clubman pic above. gotta get those big round arches on yours!
No idea how you can fill that vast gap apart from putting an alli plate in with a scooby bonnet scoop and welding it up and colour matching it. would look very odd tho.

IMHO

Pic 1 - Looks great - will they cover the wheels OK?

Pic 2 - Looks OK-ish

Maybe you could consider buying one or the other and cut them around to make either pic 1s bigger or pic 2s smaller depending on what the tape measure tells you??? Do you have a good fibreglass contact?

Pic 3 - Mmmmm not convinced ... but there are a lot of headers and stuff to cover. I'm sure google images will give us some clues.

I like the clubman front pictured else where... and that new welder seems to be working well for you Bravo!

Edit: Re your 4 inch challenge... I think it might be worth consulting a fibre glass guy at this stage.. a few multiple cuts around the front end could very well give you the length you need while keeping the proportions looking OK over all.

I personally think you need to perservere with the round arch look, I think it'll pay off in the end. Having said that the wide arch kit as shown looks much better than the boxy kit you were looking at.

With regards to your 4" gap at the front and put in laymans terms, I would draw a line from the centre of the top of the front arch up and over the bonnet to the centre of the top of the arch on the other side. Get saw and slice in half . Join back together and place the (new round ) arches to suit the new wheel position, making up any gap left by the original arch opening thus making the whole nose cone an extra 4" longer (hope that makes sense lol)

Yeah the white one above i quite like but would be bolted on sprint style as i cant stand bonded and blended bodykits tbh think that is a place blu-scoob i need a crash course in fibre glassing really i am going to try and use the standard scooby scoop shrunk to proportions on the front too which will be funtional in cooling massive top mount intercooolerrr and turb etc need to find a stylish front bumper to cover headers etc for mot purposes
