Hi ben

I'm interested in your group buy for these coilovers as my front strut is knackered.

What would you recommend for my 95 sti type ra for fast road use and the occasional trackday.

Cheers steve

Hi,

Bren is not in the office today, so I'm answering the questions.

The 5/4 kit would be your best choice, isnt harsh on the roads and although the spring rate controls the ultimate lean angle in the corners you can wind the damping up on trackdays and have a firmer ride with good feedback for driving near the limits of the car.

Very intersted

Dont laugh: ( its my street sleeper credit crunch chav chariot challenge car and you cant get 2 kids in a mk4 supra facelift TT MT6 447 bhp)

I have a 1994 wrx SA import wagon running on either speedline 16" with Hankook RS2 Z212 track tyres or sti 16" wheels shod with R888's

Did a track day at oulton park on the 5th aug and the suspension was the weakest link - no surprises there but stuffed bigger/better tackle!

I drive it like I stole it,without the police camera action bail-out at the end.I only do a 1000 miles a year and will probably go for a firmer option

Will ring on monday to confirm and discuss needs/options ? BR GF8 6/5 ?

If you want to drive hard on track, are running R888s and dont mind a firmer ride on the road in exchange for better body control on track then yeah, 6/5s are the way to go

Also, these; 14mm camber bolts ...I take these are required when ordering the camber adj mounts for the rear?

You dont need the camber bolts, they just allow greater camber adjustment at the back and Ive managed to get them at a superb price for you guys

Do the bolts for the discs & bells require changing at the same time?

By the way, I luv the BC Coilovers you supplied, i've had them on the car for abou 18months and they've been flawless, totally transformed the car, esp when the anti roll bars were upgraded as well.

Thumbs up

Will be giving you a call over the next couple of days.

Have MY06 Haweye WRX (GDG) which is needing some love:

BR's with 5/4 should do the trick...

I've got these coilovers on my classic with 5/4 springs, utterly brilliant bits of kit & has completely transformed the handeling. The ride is firm, but a lot less crashy over the bumps & the car just feels more planted.

Just wish I'd got them at this price!
