It's superb thanks. Stiffened the car up nicely. I'm just hoping never to need to benefit from its other purpose!!

I had Carl design one, so it may be worth you speaking to him. However, it wasnt ready in time, so we ended up using my RCMS one.

Not sure Peter, only driven it once, and that was on the drag strip which isnt indicative of giving accurate spool up times. The dyno print suggests its spooly, and at 1bar it made 497bhp on Zen's dyno. Will tell you when it's been on the road.

I like your choice of word " spooly"

Must add that to my text!

Do you have a graph available to see...pm if you prefer.

If my scanner would work (it currently shrinks things to 25% of their original size making it unreadable) i would post the graph. It is my intention to add it to the thread in short while. Been busy all weekend cleaning the the engine.

What was the cause of the failure Steven?

Also how severe was the damage. Were you quick enough to save that lovely crank?

Well I made good progress at the weekend. I fitted a headlight connector and had 2 cans of fosters.. that was well worth the 90mile round trip. LOL!

Connector probably took longer to fit than drink the beer.

hi mark its mat, you posted on my thread about the sequential gearbox, the modena gearbox is more than a deposit on a house my gearbox choice will just remain ppg dog box, what are you running in the yellow car, what shift mechanism is used

Gearbox is a 5 spd PPG dog kit, I believe with custom ratio's in a 6spd casing.

Shift Mechanism is the std linkage
