This is mine. It was in EVO last year. I have just ordered the following piccie from them. I will get the bottom section cropped off and then get it framed to hang on the living room wall.

I don't own any of the company,my friends own itbut I am lucky to be able to keep my cars there:lux hello:and the blue Forester is for sale because the white car is newerI have just had the white car lowered to the same as the blue because when I put the twin on, it didn't sit as Lowe but the white car has only done 3k so its like new.
can i ask and feel free to pm me as this is off subject but how do the y drive / handle compared to the impreza's, just i am in the middle of selling my p1 and have always liked the forester and might go for one instead of a hawkeye. would be nice to get an opinion from someone who has driven both as a daily car.
cheers
steve

Iirc the uk ones were priced lower than the grey imports. I did have the original bill of sale and think it was around 30k, though I can't remember.
I'm also thinking of a forester

Well.....where do I start..........
For starters, 22B's drive nothing like a P1. Obviously some that have driven the two may not have been back-to-back so the memory can become clouded but I have both sitting in the garage at home and both get driven as regularly as I can! Only problem I have with them is trying to find the time to get out in them!
They are a lot more raw than a P1, quicker steering rack makes a lot of difference and obviously weigh's it up a bit but it feels awsome. It is a lot firmer also than a P1 and stays a lot flatter through the twisties.......
Low down torque is instantly noticeable over the P1 and you will literally fly through the gears due to the ratio's being quite a bit shorter. All in all, I wouldn't really say either one is noticably quicker than the other but as a driving experience, the P1 actually feels more refined....so depending in what mood you are in kind of says which car to take. 22B is a beast of a thing with a real racing-car feel about it.
Don't get me wrong, I keep it looking right and it has just come out of Polished Bliss looking amazing....but, today is for living- enjoying myself with and in the car far outweighs any thoughts of making it an investment. Get out there in your cars and let people see them, it's a shame that people rarely get to see these cars in the metal.

So what we are saying is and this is handling wise that out of the box the 22b will out shine any other stock impreza but a impreza fitted with ex-tc will out do the 22b?
So back on the engine side a 22b will out do a stock impreza
but drop a 2.5 and something like a 321t+ or rcm450 and that will do the 22b
Which brings me to my original point that they cost what they cost due to the nostalgia and wrc history behind them. That in fact a well sorted classic will be a better car. Please don't get me wrong I love them to bits and would love to own one and would use it
everyday.
But could you really mod a 22b as surely you would be messing up a piece of history and killing it, not to mention reducing it's value

You would mess up its value but,I went to totb last year just to see all the 22Bs together and everyone had its own little or large thing done to it and Im the first to crab a car when its not right, but it didn't bother me,all the owners were happy with there cars and mods so that's all that mattered, they all loved there cars and were just putting there own touches to them, but the bonus to me is the more with mods makes mine worth more moneyIm not bothered about the money,I like them standard,if you put a standard next to a modded one you should prefer the standard.Mine are still on the original Pzerosas for the forester, they dont handle aswell as an impreza even with tein on them, but they are ok,but you do need to change the suspension especially if you get more power, but I dont go fastI only get to go for petrol in it

Just owned the one 22b I had the P1 next to it as well, along with a typeR. Indeed they are very nice cars, but most would be disappointed spending £20 odd k for one when a typeR for 5k or less, is in so many ways similar. Handling wise, I really wouldn't buy an Impreza for handling, get an Elise
