Tiggs,

You're right, it's not common but it deffo seems to be on the increase and for those of us (like me) who have been taking the sensible precautions ever since we've had our Scoobs, it's hard not to feel a little paranoid about the whole affair (but at least now I don't feel quite so silly when my wife takes the **** about me locking the doors all the time ) - it's a very emotive subject after all.

Now please please please don't take this the wrong way but judging by your car buying antics over the last year, could I hazzard a guess and say that the cost of the Scoob isn't that big a deal for you and the loss if it would be less to you than say a bloke who's been scrimping and saving for the last four years to buy one?

Right now, I could easily afford to replace my Motorbike so it's not held in same regard as when I first got it, and had been saving like mad for it - then, if someone had tried to "jack" it, I probably would have put up a fight but now, I'd probably just let them have it.....

One last point, it's hard to stay logical when you good friend (Alex) who lives 5 mins drive from you has had his door kicked in and a gun pointed at his dad. When it's that close to home, it hurts and whilst I've always had sympathy for the guys on the board who it's already happened to, it's just not the same until it happens close to home.

It'll calm down but give people some room? Not everyone can aproach things as logically and calmly as you (or me even ).

Cheers m8,

Matt

P.S. Please forgive any presumptions and assumptions you feel I may have made
