The passing of Michael Jackson is a Global One off News Event - The results of a bunch of angry muslim to$$ers happens every other day !
I agree there was way too much MJ stuff - but I wouldn't have replaced it with hours of 7/7 memorials etc.
The MJ Stuff = Too much
The 7/7 Stuff = Just about right.

How much media attention do you believe the 4th anniversary of the bombings deserves ?

yep, people would rather grieve for a freaky kiddy fiddler who produced some decent songs years ago. I can only imagine what will happen when Josef Fritzel croaks it.

None whatsoever. However he has openly admitted to sleeping with and sharing his bed with other children who stayed with him. Not unequivocal proof, but I wouldn't be happy sending my children over for a sleepover at his Neverland ranch if invited my MJ.
No smoke without fire as they say. The difference between him and Gary Glitter, is that GG didn't have the money to pay off his victims.

There are laws however which say that you are pushing your luck if you accuse someone unless you are able to prove what you say.
Best hope that his family don't read this forum.
