Right just had it washed & hoovered as I have'nt got time to get my Karcher out!! Tmrw is a bit of claybar; Jeffs acrylic prime; Wheels/tyres; plastic trim. Sunday morning early at Uxbridge show is shamois wet wipe down; final laquer polish coat; interior dash laquer. If I have time then may give the engine a quick wipedown
Im also thinking about printing out some kind of "Car Info/Spec sheet" that I can put in the windscreen so that the Subaru unenlightened cab get some idea & info on what our cars are. Anyone else up for this too or shall I not bother?

Was thinking of doing the same with the spec sheet in keeping with the "show" theme
...mind you it's a pretty standard P1...
Had a mad week at work and the scoob's been on the road everyday and is looking "weathered" at the mo....will have to try and get a last minute wash n wax tomorrow evening hopefully

Woohoo! - Looks like Lin + I are gonna just make it, afterall
I broke the front diff in the car on Wednesday - A new Quaife Helical Front LSD turned up at work this morning...
...Started getting the box out at 7pm tonight, stripped the diff out, fitted and adjusted the new LSD, and finally finished refitting the box at 1am
I've just been out for a test drive, and the car's handling is much improved... Slight understeer on power, followed by some lift-off oversteer = easily provoked tailslides round roundabouts
Now i can make a start on getting the bloody thing looking clean
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday - i hope the weather is kind to us!

Can't say I'm not dedicated....the car's looking a bit filthy at the mo but I'm up and ready to give it a quick wash n wax!
See you all in a while!
Will have a spare foldable chair with me for anyone who wants
Also will bring a few 2ltr bottles of Coke and Tango as have some left over from a party we had to keep everyone refreshed!

Guys (and gals!), thanks for a great day out. Great turnout and everyone was looking at their shiny best!
Mr & Mrs Budgie - thanks for organising all the details and getting the MSOC into action!
Will post pics up in the pics thread a bit later.

well here is my take on today
thanks to everyone who turned up and supported the MSOC
and ultimately the rotary club charity
the weather was not its usual bright sunshine
but a few minor showers did not spoil the day
many thanks to those who brought food and drinks along
and to the cooking staff
and to those that put in the donation tin
all the cars looked fantastic and goes to show quality and
variety we have in our group
roll on next year
thanks guys

I wouldn't if I were you... you missed the model-looking bird that came round asking if you'd actually done the Gumball! If I was any quicker I would have claimed it was mine
You can have first dibs on a wagon if you like though, good for lumping tyres around in!
