I hope so too Daz, apart from new wheels....
and some Defi's
I think!!
It has been an awesome weekend for driving but had a slight problem with the fuel pump fuse today due to the SimTek but Martyn rang me at half 9 tonight to explain and it's all sorted now!! Good service or what

She's all run in, mapped and boosting better than ever before
453/430 were the final results, Martyn said it he couldn't get the timing off the fuel I was using so gonna give it up to about 5k miles then try again when the engine's run in a bit more!!
High boost is 453bhp @ 1.9 bar
Low boost is 379bhp @ 1.5 bar so not too shabby, feels so quick on the road!! Engine Tuner have done a fantastic job

Feels awesome
They've been great from start to finish!! Twisted turbo setup next but not til next year
Many congratulations mate

Thats some mighty figures there allready and it should release a few more as the motor wears itself in over the next few thousand miles.
Cannot wait to see it in the flesh.
Whats more impressive is that it puts out over twice as much as mine
or should that be
I can't imagine having another scooby pulling mine as well.It sounds insane

Hope to see it soon, enjoy !!

Oz, it's very nice to drive seeing as it's high power, it hasn't lost any of it's driveability!!
Muttley, long time no see buddy, how's things?? I'm sure it should loosen up a wee bit in 5k

whats the turbo rated too ??? as i thought you would get more than that at a whopping 1.9 bar from that turbo?
what fuel was you using ???good result tho fella just thought it would have made alittle more than that
hope when mine is run in i will get around this figure or more fingers crossed
Hiya Merv, I suffered a prolapsed disc a couple of months ago.

I thought I would've got more than that but as the engine hasn't loosened up it was hit and miss, I'm more than happy though as it's awesome!!

Not bad results for a new build.

So the race for 500bhp is on then

I bet your glad to get the running in and the mapping out of the way.
Shame about the figures, I think everyone was expecting a good 50BHP more but providing it feels okay and your happy thats all that matters.
I've got 500 miles on mine now only another 500 to go and then back up to API for a little map tweek (hopefully on there new rollers).
I'll be happy if I get the same as what it had on the old engine (446Bhp and 509lbs)

I'm a little disappointed but the figures are good for a new build!! Roll on 5k
The running in miles took 4 days out of the week so wasn't too bad!! The engine feels very strong indeed!! Martyn was very impressed with the power/torque curves too
Figures are for the pub, its how it drives is the main thing.
Anything thats around 450/450 is going to be a hell of a drive and i'm sure there will be a little more to come once a few more miles are under your belt.
It would do me
