Thanks for the invite Ian.

Personally, blokes standing around talking about their cars bores me to tears.

Now, if it were a trackday somewhere nice.. I'd be there !

David,

Fair point - although I can't see how a derestricted Skyline manages 270hp per ton when it weighs 1500kg?

Wasn't bitching about Skylines - I love them - some of you lot are a little serious sometimes....

Anyway, none of that changes the fact that Steve is as lardy as his car

A standard Skyline is ~320bhp

Once you add a free flowing exhaust / induction kit etc. you're nudging 400bhp

400 / 1.5 = 266bhp/tonne

No, a std. Skyline is ~320.

Like the 22B, they pretend it's under 280, because that's the self-imposed maximum limit Japanese manufacturers have set.

Exclamation

Standard Supra Twin Turbo is 280bhp for Jap import, UK/USA Supra is 326bhp (bigger injectors, steel turbos instead of ceramic). UK/USA supra has bigger front and back brakes too... That said J Spec supra's are generally acknowledged as having a better suspension setup. Of course I'd rather have a skyline

And another thing **** jockey, I can always loose weight, where as you my friend, are eternally damned to look like shaggy untill they carry you out in a box...............

Steve my friend,

Bearing in mind, you have more than a passing resemblance to Thelma......

You just don't have such good taste in your attire

ps - if you want a ride in the new toy, you're gonna have to lose weight - seats are normal sized you know - not bus seats like you've got in the Skylard.

Hi Scoobycrazy.

Go for the Supra if thats where your heart lies mate. We've had a similar discussion on the GTR board and to be quite honest its all down to your passion. If you don't think you'd look back at a GTR when walking away from it then stick with the Supra. You've already said certain things that you can see turns you on to the Supra. Pick your tuner carefully though.
