You may not need it but it's what this place thrives on, well at least it does now, differing opinion's and posters winding other posters up.
Muppets was a love it or hate it place, I for one was one of those that hated it due to the cliqueness that went on. Nothing wrong in people being mates but there was definitely an air of 'you're not part of our gang' when those not in the clique posted. It's also fallen into NSR at times when those who think they are of superior intellect post some cryptic joke that means little to most but then laugh at those who have no idea what they are on about because they must be thick for not getting it.

Why not release all the SN prisoners from the depths of ex-webclowns dungeon and see how many come back
Traffic will rocket
Maybe a complimentary email just to let them all know they have been unbanned and will be judged on future actions only?

Not that I can find without spending a long time trawling, it was a considerable time ago the one i'm thinking of. I'm not for one minute saying it happens frequently but it has happened and that sort of posting tells me those on it laughing at others expense are very much up one's own backside.

Funny that as personally I think it was at its best 1999-2001 before the egos arrived and turned it away from being about Scoobs, but there you go.
Places change, tastes alter. People want different things.
There is no way this place is going to cater for being all things to all men.
As it is today I think it is pretty good. Sure it's lost a bit of edge, but for the most part it is a good forum to visit and use.

I would like to thank those who spoke up for me. I have never understood why I have continually had the above treatment. I have never insulted him anyway.

Telboy, I have always liked your posting style on here even if I dont agree with all you say and as such I am at a loss to understand why you are so seemingly spiteful towards Les.
I think I am a fairly level headed person and see nothing offensive in what Les says or the way he says it and really it seems a little out of character for what I know of your persona on here.
There are posters far more worthy of derision than Les (imo) so any chance you can enlighten us as to what the problem is as frankly I, and others I suspect, am a little bewildered?

It's been debated numerous times already, Subaru ownership is a fraction of what it was 5 years ago, people move on, people die , join new bbs's, novelty wears off etc.
I don't think the site is '**** up', yes it's not as buy as it was, yes are less flame wars/infractions etc, doesn't make it dead imo.
I don't miss some of the 'regular' losers that used to inhabit here, Chaos/Mycroft/Audilover/Nacro and 100's that I've forgotten.
I'm not fussed either way, just get a little tired of the same old Snet bashing, either use it or don't, that's my 5 cents.
