Had a good day today, despite mr. ellis's over competitiveness after he'd led me down the dark path of the show and shiners, best part of the day for me was the sound off and i know that was a big hit with the rest of you esspesialy Glen, Si and Kev, looking forward to the next show now and time to get the car to concourse condition for the next show and shine, red you have been warned

Well done Kev, I am sorry but there is no way that SWCC should have won the best stand prize with their bunch of chav mobiles.

As I remember you did not need much in the way of persuasion and were taking more time than anyone else in the cleaning dept , I really enjoyed the sound off myself seeing a load of clowns in their chavaliers crowing around and listening to low bass it was great . I can see Kev, Simon and Glenn getting in to the whole sound off scene as they enjoyed the 'action' no end.

Some pics of the show

Jarvis cleaning his car, no that he was being competitive or anything

And with cars like this on the SWCC stand it is no wonder that they won

Glad the weather held off gents!

My day went **** up from the moment i rolled out of bed!! Got to Sarn late so had to gun it to catch up then when i got there i realised i had the wifes car and house keys in my pocket, what a tit

To make things worse she couldnt find the spaare keyys so thats why i had to make a sharp exit

It got worse though! Almost reached the M4 and got a text to say that the keys have now turned up, so i think great and turn around. Just to top things off, i get back and the jobs worth at the gate wouldnt let me back in and suggested that i park with the door dingers..................no thanks

So that was that, my head went and i wasted £40 overall on a lonely run to and from Pembrey, nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no, you missed the sound-off it was fantastic.......ly bad!

Good to get to my first SWS event and speak to some nice people (Calvin, Ty, Nolan, Matt, Glen, KJD and Ryan), that can put up with my drivel.

A cracking gathering of Impreza's

Also hi to Jarvis who I couldn't keep up with on the M4 as I've not fitted my afterburners just yet

Cheers,
Dean (silver bugeye)

Tis was not a bad day in all, good to see some nice classic's up in the top area.

Watching the Sound off was a thing to remember NOT to do again, ever.

Good to talk to you Dean, you'll have to come to some more meets.

Roll on the next show ( Performance Action Day ) which for me will probably be the last one.

I did not have a bad day, nice to stretch the legs... but what's this roof rack thing ?? it left me completely I'm afraid to say along with the sound off...

Tractors Hotrods and Ice Cream

Nee Naaa Nee Naaa goes the Morris Minor police car

Interesting cross section and I'm sure we should have parked in the inner area I think it would have been more relaxed for us oldies

The Sierra RS500 on RS owners club stand was the highlight of the day. The car was running compomotive gravel alloys but otherwise original, 1 of 52 ever made in white developing 437 bhp at the rear wheels. I've only seen a couple of black versions before so good to have a close up and look around such a rare motorsport legend. Did anyone managed to take a few photos?.

signed up to this forum a day or 2 before finding out about the show. the subaru contingent was by far the most impressive collection of cars there on the day i reckon ;-) especially the red 03 scooby...whose is that?!
i left mine in the car park, but wish i had asked if i could take it for a blast round the track. got a bit bored watching the porsche, 205, ibiza, galant, cerbera and zs buzzin around. but that said, i did enjoy seeing the orange mk2 escort losing his back end on the 2nd corner of his first lap haha
