got mine last week, looks very nice offered it up and a real good fit, wasnt too sure what to do with the plastic fairing underneath and was advised to re-use the clips. Dropped it off at body shop and picked it up today, all excited, in WR Blue. Got home jacked the car up and fitted it, really simple so far. Realised that the holes for the left and right fairings didnt have any holes so drilled 3mm pilot hole, measured the popper type clips took the first hole out to 7mm, 9mm then 10mm. Just started the 10mm hole, looking good so far, drill starts, made maybe 3 revs and "GRAAKK" feckin splitter split from the hole on the upper side all the way to the lower bend.......................gutted me luvverly new front splitter now has a 28mm crack right through it. Luckily my wheelie bin was close so i kicked the F*** out of it. Bolx what now..............ok take stock all might not be lost, have to be careful as its so flexy i only have like 20 or so mm left before it snaps in half. Ok epoxy? evostik? scotchgrip? ah get the hot glue gun out, waited for it to warm up and basically poured it on the underside, it heated the plastic up nicely so i could gently push and pull both sections together, got it where i wanted it gently moved away and left it an hour to set. Came back and it was rock solid but the paint has a grrrrrt line in it of course on the front. I will have to spend some time a later date making it right but just wanted it sealed as it was pissing down and had to go driving, had visions of the paint peeling back with the airflow so just ussed the touch up pen to get some paint on it and let it dry. The splitter looks great on the car, the stock WRX def needs it, hopefully i can blend it, tcut it out if not then thats a £186 down the pisser..................off to have a few beers and relax a bit lol oh and hot glue is exactly that.........feckin hot and it dont have stick to your fingers.

 

could we bring the rear splitters in to this group buy?

 

Would be interested in one of the splitters but as i live in the Highlands you want a extra £15 p&p! Is this not taking the pee we're still mainland uk seems a bit unfair to me.

Just been to Ht Autos to get a P1 splitter for my classic and can confirm it was a very good experiance and the product is perfect. Got home and took me 10 minutes to fit and looks really good. Gonna leave it black to match the skirts.

heh sorry that would of helped wouldn't it But nevermind it arrived this morn, superb Now although it is in excellent condition there are a couple of small marks on the ends I dunno whether to paint the whole thing satin black or leave it as is. Looks like it will be a great fit to, niceone.
