Well after the Lodge meet last night !! I Think we need to say a massive thank you to Hill's ( Scooby Blue WRX ) For all the work that you have put into this so far

I'm sure that i speak on behalf of all the team , What you showed us @ the Lodge last night is great You have put so much time & effort into the Team ESC Race team & it really is appreciated , Of course I'm unable to say to much on an open forum But hey you guys know

This club needs people LIKE YOU !!

Yep fantastic amount of effort gone into it all. Im sure the Mr clutch guys will confirm but IIRC the car should be ready for Phase 2 next week.

 

That's great news. Thanks to all the guys & gals that are putting so much effort & enthusiasm into this race car.

On a more serious note there is some concern that secret spy shots of the ESC entry are circulating on the net.

We may have to tighten up on security.

Perhaps have one of Gooners dogs on guard duty around the perimeter.

Who leaked them? They never said you couldnt have extra engines just the original had to be of the same type/size as origianl.

But to be honest all I have done is try to keep a check on what you guys are (or rather aren't) spending!! Women are good at that, though we aren't quite so good at telling you what we spend!!

Seriuosly, Ark will tell you that I am really pleased to be involved in this little project - as is he - and to be honest we are really looking forward to the whole weekend!

We were saying on the way home last night how much fun we are having as Scooby owners, and already feel like we've known some of you for much more than the 4 or 5 months it's been!


Oh, and guess where we went last night.........?



I think the real praise ought to be showered on these guys as without their help we would be alot further behind, with very oily hands!

We called in last night before the Lodge, and as expected, we got a really warm welcome.

These guys are flat out with work, yet they have still found time to help out Team ESC.



Also, as we have seen on many other threads, if anyone has a problem, however busy they are, they will always accomodate another ESC member & offer their full help.

These guys are legends - THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

We had to go undergroud.............the MSOC Blue Rinse Brigade had sent their spy out to gather intelligence!!




Though why they sent him is beyond me!!!!!

 

 

No need to be secretive, we told Budgie all our secrets last Sat at ESC HQ.
Hope he was sober enough to remember?
If not here's a few reminders;

Add loads of weight, especially at the back to aid traction.
Use near bald tyes as they work like slicks
Use really high tyre pressues, so the tyre tread opens.
block the front grill to stop the dust getting in.
don't worry about having working brakes you never use them.
And lastly, don't worry about moving over for the ESC car, we will be far too slow to catch the flying MSOC cars.

It`s all happening just squeezing another 25 hp out the engine to go with the hundreds you had already got it up to.

 

must be over 500 now

 

nah tom,stop winding the msoc up mate,we only got it to 352bhp at the wheels on our dyno

i reckon simons hard work will eventually get it very close to 400bhp ready for race mate

 

Once I`ve got the gangle pin lined up with the overhead underhangers things should be sweeeeeet. I think!
