hey, i just took the old one out, cut the braket off the bottom an put the small one u get with the kit in place, its only an overflow, stops it pouring on the floor, doesnt really matter like that i spent probably 3-4hours doing it, but was my first one ive done so didnt think that was too bad! I didnt have instructions so dont think that was too bad really!

Default received my intercooler ed im a bit confused HELP!

Many thanks first of all ED for the quick delivery of my new age fmic kit, and the quality is definately worth the money,. i am a bit confused though as i received a small box which had a black canister type can with two holes at the top, a y shaped bracket, something that looks like a maf piece, and some black rubber hoses and a t piece connector. what are these for and as i have no instructions could you pm me with advice. i have included pictures below of the parts i received that i dont know what they are for. my fear is that my order has been mixed up and i have received someone elses cheers rick.

two holes at the top with sealed base like a catch can.

You need all of that

You use the maf pipe anf y-piece to fit and supoort an induction kit, it won't work with the factory airbox.

The hose replaces the metal breather pipes on the current TMIC.

The can replaces the current coolant overflow tank

Mine ran fine once installed, I would suspect a deeper problem, faulty MAF or wiring damaged during install. Instructions are on there way

Hi,

Have you checked all of the connections it sounds like a MAF problem its either faulty or un-metered air is getting in or out of the system causing the car to cut out.

give us a call on 08450 212312 see if i can shed some light on the problem.

Regards,

Adrian.
