I was in a local shop getting a bacon sarnie when 2 lads from the new had carwash walked in and asked for some halal sandwiches.

They were met with a barrage of abuse from one of my regular punters who was also in the shop at the same time, and told them to "**** off, this is palmersville not pakistan"

Mind you this punter of mine is probably the most racist person i know, although i have a Chinese mate who is nearly as bad

We just happen to have a customer which is a slaughter house.
According to them the cows know something isnt right.
They said that they can smell the blood.
I personally have witnessed on two seperate occaisions a cow going berserk, jumping out of the bars and getting loose in the car park and wrecking several cars before being shot.

That would tell me that they know something

 

Urban thanks for clearing that up. people should relise a life is a life and should be treated with respect regardless. what some of you saw in kill it cook it eat it, its the way slaughter houses are supposed to run but as you can clearly see no one seems to follow the guildlines hallal or non halal or even kusha.

animals are there for us to consume but if we are to do so then we must learn to respect them and treat them in the good way.

sticky micky joke fair enough but i aint even pakistani and if i was i wouldnt see a need for a such a comment and to be honest i have a pakistani friends and i know such comments would make them uncomfortable. from my experience a lot of orientals seem to get on well with the asian community. if some one said something about the english it would offend people on here as well as me as i do have alot of english friends. im sure you didnt have the intention to upset anyone but sometimes its nice to think before talking.

 

What comment? personally i find it amusing as hell, that somebody from a different race, who lives in the uk, can say "kick them all out" and not see the funny side in it.

They say its Halal but really its not even Halal @ all... its all stuned & muslim ppl aint allowed to have stuned chickens b'cos they die most of the time without them praying over it b4 cutting them away!

we as muslims when we buy halal then we expect it to be done in the correct way, and unfortunately a lot of slaughter houses muslim or non muslim dont follow the correct guidelines to my knowledge if someone states is halal then that’s it we buy and we will not be accounted for it, but also we should really carry out our own research to make sure its done properly.

I know because I unfortunately had the pleasure of watching it many times cause when we are abroad it’s the only way for us to know that the meat is acutely fresh and the slaughter has been done in the correct way.

Stunning animals its definitely not halal

 

It would really upset me to see or to think that can happen.

I remember having an argument (a proper one ) with an evangelist type vegetarian who insisted that you should not buy ANY food from ANY fast food place as they promote the slaughter of animals - even if they DO sell Vegetarian options.

We were shopping in Tescos at the time and I could *not* get him to see the irony of the situation.

 

Sadly true I'm afraid. Animals have a 6th sense for this kind of thing.

I can't watch slaughterhouse footage, I couldn't watch Hugh / Jamie Olivers stuff. Nothing weird there, except I hunt!!!!
