Love the wheels. Did you get them from a Subaru dealer? £250 a corner plus tyres?

they used to live on my STI Hawkeye

I had them fitted on the car due to the insurance buying it for me to replace my first hawkeye that was written off by a bus, a hefty £36k bill of car and extras so basically, the wheels / tyres cost me nothing and i sold the standard 17's that the car had orginally.

I've just added the red trim mod on the grill

My local Halfords didn't stock them but found them online here:

RED GLOSS TRIM 7mm x 5mm TRMRED1

Also fitted my 2nd hand Zunsport lower grill and HT Auto's lip spolier

Interesting, I'd always assumed it was done with simple flat tape.

Looks good though.

Cheers Dunc... That explains a lot, the boost is all over the place when it pops off, I'd assumed it was the warm air not that the meter was up-stream of the leak... eeek
I've ordered the Z/S pipework now.... ..so I am driving it steady till the stuff arrives.

Coupled with a re-map and a better panel filter you'd see +40bhp and +40lbs

I just used normal red pinstripe from Halfords, think that is what most on here use.

That's what I used but mine is starting to wear now and will need replaced. I've got plenty left!

Must admit - quite fancy that one that Scooby L has used.

Scooby L - can you remove the zunsport badge from the lower spoiler without leaving an obvious empty gap etc?

I think there is a black plate behind the Zunsport logo, so would leave a black spoldge?

I'm getting an STi sticker for there.

I think these plates are to make sure the air coming through the scoop goes through the whole TMIC not just the back part ..... that was apparently a problem on early classics, no idea if later / Hatch cars suffer from this?

Not sure if they would keep stones etc. from hitting the fins of the TMIC.

It would certainly hide most of the fins from the eye which sounds good to me

I'm going to order a cool action II for mine next month (was going ot get one this month but have overspent LOL)

I had one on my 2003STI and if you believe the blurb it increases the inter cooler's optimum airflow surface area by some 80%

I'm sure the 2008 car would benefit greatly from one of these, the entry angle is way too flat for the i/c fins not to bend and warp.. and most of the air pressure must be located at the rear of the i/c surface....

EDO Performance have them in stock BTW

As Vulnax said, it's stuck onto a black area which is quite unsightly ... you'd need to replace it with another enamel logo really...

I looked at removing the badge complete from my zunsport grill but nearly certain doing so would damage the black mesh below

Maybe Mark could do a small batch of zunsport replacement badges in STi flavour to fit the badge?

How does the TMIC cool action fit to the TMIC?
Looks like it clips over the edges of the TMIC end tanks?

I've now noticed a few areas on the TMIC which have a few bent fins, must be from stones or similar getting down the bonnet scoop?
