I got it all complete (grille, fogs, canards and maxton splittrr) off ebay it was a bit more than i wanted to pay @£420 but it was in the right colour so didn't need it respraying and I got the arch liners chucked in for that too. I fitted the zunsport grilles too and used black vinyl behind the lower grille as i didn't like the body colour showing through the grille. I do like the pre facelift bumper but i agree it does look more purposeful now it has the newer one on

The diff insert kit only fits in on one side for some reason; I think MRT in Oz have done a video on it.
But you probably all know what I think of Whiteline by now. Give the new arb a good coat of hammerite!!

Shocking, you'd have thought they would have sorted this issue by now.

I want to upgrade my T20 reverse bulb to a much brighter led, but I've had a search on here, and found stock is non existent at reliable sites. I don't want to buy from residential addresses or Chinese sites.
Do I need cannabis safe ones? Any recommendations?

It is truly shocking as to be fair ARBs are not cheap when you consider what they are. This is an ARB of a 2003 RX8 which I am painting and putting on my MX5 and its in better nick that a lot of Whiteline metal work after two years

All the crusty old crap is out and new bushes are in. It was pain in the as* of a job to do but is doable. I didnt remove the whole subframe and was only on jack stands. It would've been a lot easier if i could've got the car higher in the air.

Fantastic job on those bushes, looking at what you took out I reckon you will definitely notice a difference

Thanks, it's still up in the air at the moment. I've had to order new rear drop links as the hex bolt on the threaded part rounded off because the nut was seized . Being under there though highlights how sh*tty they get and how my bushes were long overdue.
I've got these to go on but don't know whether to tackle it myself now as most nuts are a ball ache to remove.

Is Whiteline the only polybush manufacturer who does the entire rear subframe bush, apart from Subaru? As far as I can see, Superpro and Powerflex don't do them, only the insert.

I'm not sure to be honest, I've just had a quick look around and can't find any other manufacturer doing them maybe someone else will know. The quotes I was getting for just standard bushes was more than the whiteline ones so bit the bullet and got them.

Dont talk to me about Grp N parts I bought the wrong cross member bushes and now finding any in the UK is a right mission. Two are the same thickness as the newage ones, the others are a lot thicker

As per the group N parts list posted they are the right parts but you probably need the transmission mount as well for it to work.

Thanks Don, yeah I already have that on my list, Hopefully AS can get the cross member bushes as he already stocks the transmission mount. (which is cracked on my car!)

That's what my spec c had as the fitter told me he had to drill them out to fit the inserts, rather than phoning me to tell me they weren't standard. Makes sense now.

Not sure if these would fit the bill (no you don't need cannabis safe ones- can bus doesn't extend to the Impreza's lighting system)

https://xenons4u.co.uk/w21w-7440-drl...ght-bulbs.html
or any of these

Re the subframe bushes, it looks like the Whiteline ones will be very snug and rigid. But having had their rack bushings fail in 9 months, I would be concerned about the material durability, and the metal part corroding. But they are obviously much easier to insert.
My plan is to eventually remove the subframe and powder coat it, and deal with that fuel pipe, so I'll have some time to decide!

I don't know about the longevity on these only time will tell. I'll keep an eye on them and if they start going bad I'll post some pictures up. But they were super easy to fit, slid straight in so won't be as much as a pain to replace next time round if needed.

I got everything back together this evening and took it out for a drive and wow! I wish I had fitted them ages ago the car feels much better, planted around corners the back end doesn't snap out anymore there is a lot more grip. Granted I have fitted a few other bits at the same time (diff inserts, H-brace, Mid brace and rear arb kit) which will all contribute in some way but it's definitely a worth while modification
